Breast tenderness while pregnant

My doctor was a little concerned that I really haven't exhibited many "typical" symptoms of pregnancy that I had in my past 3 pregnancies, like morning sickness, breast tenderness, and fatigue.  I am exhausted, so there's that, but I am wondering how many of you had breast tenderness while pregnant and breastfeeding.  I told the doctor that I still nurse my 15 month old, so maybe my breasts are just used to it.  As for the m/s, I am not too worried about that, since not everyone experiences m/s.

I had breast tenderness with my first two pregnancies. One ended in miscarriage. I had no breast tenderness with my third pregnant and just had a healthy baby. I think your doctor is scaring you for nothing.
    My TTC History:
    2009: missed miscarriage #1 at 9 weeks (trisomy 16)
    2010: Infertility
2011: Diagnosis and treatment (low sperm count, anastrozole for DH, clomid for me + IUI)
    2012: Baby #1
    2014: Baby #2
October 2015: missed miscarriage #2 at 11 weeks (trisomy 22)
    March 2016 BFP#5, due November 2016.

  • I had a MW say to me with my first, "We don't like to hear you are feeling that good!"  Meaning not having symptoms could be a sign of a problem, but went on to have a perfectly healthy baby girl.  So I don't think that by itself is a big deal.

To answer your question my nipples were extremely tender while BFing DD when pregnant with DS, also my supply took a huge hit.
