  I've given it to DD more to satisfy her when she wants our cup.  Unfortunately, I got a faulty sippy cup that didn't have any holes in it. Poor baby was trying so hard.  I was pretty impressed that she could hold it and lift it to her face.  Not really trying to transition yet, just introducing it to her.

  I just bought a nubby DD will not take a bottle for anything. So I'm hoping I can transition her to supply cup sooner than later.

  We had to supplement after delivery and chose to cup feed and finger feed rather than giving a bottle. With her reflux meds being the kind that have to be mixed with water, we just continued to give it to her in a cup. So she drinks some from a cup without a sippy lid.

  I gave DD1 a cup with water for practice when we started solids at 5.5 months. She mostly chewed on it, but they make excellent teethers and she got really good at it much sooner than most kids. She was totally off the bottle at 12 months.

  Yep this sounds just like me. I've tried advent, tommy Tippee, playtex nurser, and now Dr a Browns she HATES them!

  Rebecca wouldn't take a bottle anymore, I bought a Medela Calma Breastmilk Feeding Nipple and it worked. Little pricey though $20 for one bottle but worth it cause it worked!

  It is her new favorite toy. At least it keeps her from always trying to grab my cup. She hasn't been able to get much water out yet, but sure has fun playing with it. Also we put her in her highchair for the first time this week... see picture. Almost ready for some real food.
