(Re)-intro (living child + loss mentioned)

Hello all. I've been lurking on the boards throughout the past year or so. Popping in here and there to provide comments/inputs. Brief summary in my siggy, but I originally started on the boards in 2010 with my first IVF. We were fortunate enough to have my 3yo DS via the first IVF. Subsequent FETs and IVFs we were not so successful. After the final failed FET (actually it worked, but I miscarried at 6 weeks within 24 hours of seeing the heartbeats) I decided to take a break from it all. DH was done with IVF entirely at that point. I needed to remove myself so that I could move on and accept that we would remain a family of 3. We also needed to recoup financially since it was all OOP.

I was doing OK for a while until 2 close family members became pregnant with #2 seemingly as soon as they mentioned they were *thinking* of trying. Adding insult to injury, I can now officially scratch my top two boys' names off my list since they both had boys and of course named their boys my top 2 choices.

Anyhow, it's times like those and things like that, that someone not going through the IVF journey couldn't understand, and why I feel I need to return to the boards for support.

I've applied for a clinical study. Hoping that we will qualify. DH is on board if we do, which is renewing my hopes a bit. Hoping that you will (re)accept me.

Wow, you've been through a lot. I hope you can find some support here. I am so sorry for your losses. Hugs. Welcome back, and good luck with that study!
