Intro from Jan14

Hi everyone! I've been active on the Jan14 board since last May, when my dr told me our EDD wad 1/14/14. But.... Baby Owen decided he was ready to party and arrived via c-section (after 36 hours of labor) on New Year's Eve.

I wanted to start frequenting this board too, so here's a little info about me: FTM, living in SoCal. Born and raised in Austin, Texas. I'm a science educator focusing on providing professional development for other educators. DH and I met in 2004, started dating in 2007, married in 2011.

I'm excited to be a part of this board too, if you'll have me!

I also have to add I love that app. I just got it though and am having issues figuring it out. If you could give me any tips. Especially how to make the font smaller so I can fit it into a "box" that would be great

To change font size just pinch the text with your fingers and resize or turn it to your liking. I noticed on mine I could only access photos from my iPhoto albums, not events. Otherwise just play!

Are you moving back to Austin? DH would love for us to move there for cost of living and being closer to family. I'm not entirely opposed, it's just hard bc I've lived in LA for so long now and have so many friends, professional contacts, etc. What made you decide to do it?

Close to Austin. Most of my family live in Bastrop. Yeah it is hard to just up and leave...I have a lot of friends here too

but we have only been here since july...ca is to expensive for my taste...my DH is going on a deployment. And with DD I wanna be home with family and save as much $ as I can for when DH gets out of the military in 2 yrs. After he gets out yes we are for sure moving back to TX...we haven't decided where to in TX yet...but somewhere where I can find a good job Bc I'll be the main $ maker

good idea, i have her baby book but she is my 3rd so life is sometimes hectic and its only like seriously 5% filled out.
