DD has had some minor adhesions. I really should be better about using vaseline. She is not prone to rashes, so I usually don't think of it. Thanks for the reminder.
My DD has a very mild adhesion. I was told it could correct itself naturally, so we're waiting it out. Otherwise there is the estrogen cream. We haven't gotten that far yet.
My daughter is now 6 and she still battles this from time to time. I've been to several drs and they all say while it's not common it is normal. But like the others said, watch for irritants - went bathing suits/underwear, not wiping properly. And also, I've found that baths irritate her. So more showers, less baths.
Supposedly by the time she reaches puberty and makes her own estrogen it shouldn't be an issue. I pray they are right about that because at age 6 it's getting weird for me to be putting cream on her or checking for it. She doesn't seem bothered but for me, it feels odd.
Re: XP: So talk to me about labial adhesion...
