I really want to help LO sleep better. I have been wanting to get the book 'becoming baby wise' but it has some very mixed reviews on it's techniques. Another technique suggested was from the book 'baby whisperer' which I think has the EASY technique.
I am contemplating getting one of these books as I have a LO who will not sleep more than an hour and half round the clock. I would really like to introduce a way to get him to at least sleep 3 hours at night. Heck I'll even take 2 hours at this point. I am desperate to introduce some of these techniques so that I can bring him to a good sleep cycle.
Anyone using or have used any sleep techniques listed in the mentioned books successfully? Is it worth even trying or is it pointless as LO is a month old and will eventually sleep? My fear is by not inculcating some of these so called 'habits' I may be setting him up to be bad with sleep.
I know a lot of us are struggling with sleep and at this stage it's expected but I am just very curious to know if anyone has used advice from these books and if it has worked.
Re: Anyone using baby wise or EASY for LO sleep
FWIW, we have never used a swing and never missed it. But I know it is a lifesaver for some.
The tone of Baby Whisperer was annoying but I liked her 'baby is a person' approach.
