Wonder bumpers?

So today J stood up in his crib for the first time. He also managed to fall and hit his head for the first time today.

To those moms who've been dealing with this...

What are you doing? Are you doing anything?

I'm super paranoid he's going to hurt himself badly. But my reasonable side reminds me that this has to happen all the time, moreso, all babies probably go through this....

Still bugging me out.

Anyone ever see/use these?

Re: Wonder bumpers?

  • I'm hoping he will just get better at standing really quickly :)
  • Loading the player...
  • @xbluefrogx that's comforting, thank you! I mean, he is growing and learning so quickly I'm sure he will steady quickly... It's just so scary to hear that crashing/bump/cry sound!
  • I agree it won't last long enough to be bothered. By the end of the week he will be a pro at it. Get used to seeing them bump themselves every once in a while.

  • I cringe every time MJ falls!!! I try not to overreact but it is hard. We don't have anything on the crib, but those look awesome!
  • Thank you ladies! I know he, and I, will toughen up :) This is like the warm up to the monkey bars, and tree climbing, and sports (or whatever he chooses to participate in that causes me to cringe in fear of injury!) These babies! <3
  • We have good old fashioned thick soft bumpers from carters. I put them in around 7 months I'm not worried about him at all. He moves around so much his little head was always getting bumped and arms and legs through the slats. We are all sleeping better.
