Because I have no one else to tell....

...and DH will probably just laugh at me..I'm a wee bit excited right now because I'm having crazy sore nips. (No-I don't think I'm pregnant, so don't worry.) I haven't had a period or O on my own in almost a year, and this is the first hormonal thing I've experienced (without meds) in a LONG time! I'm on CD 27, but I'm praying that this will be month I O on my own. Anyone experience this before or around O?

Thanks for letting me get that dumb excitement out! :)

My Ovulation Chart
Me-30 PCOs  DH-32
April 2013-Came off BCP
Cycles1-3: 70+ days ending w/ Provera
Nov 2013: Dx w/ PCOs and started Pregnitude
Cycles 4-5: Cycling with Prometrium- Still no ovulation
Cycle 6: Finally O'd by myself on CD 29 (7 day LP)
Cycles 7-10: Late ovulation and short LPs
Sept 2014-Finally making an RE appointment! 9/24
10/1-began metformin; 10/16 HSG= All clear! SA= super sperm
Cycle 12: Nov 2014-2.5 mg femara + TI = BFN
Cycle 13 Dec 2014 2.5 mg femara + TI =?

    Every time I start farting, dh has a reaction that makes me laugh, and when I laugh it just makes me fart more.

    My nips are never sore...I almost feel I'm missing out. I do fart though. The nice thing about having a toddler is I can blame the stink all on her...yay me!

    I've had sex the last three days in a row on my bed...it was ovulation sex and it was fucking (literally) fantastic.

    Not missing out.  I can't even take my bra off for fear they'll graze my tshirt.  I blame my farts on the dog and my son all the time.  Though I'm pretty sure DH is catching on to me.

    I just did a quick weekend master bedroom reno. Painted the bedroom and built our new Ikea - Hemes bed. Is anyone else's bed really high?? We have a low profile box spring and a pillow top mattress. The top of the bed comes up to my belly button!!

    We have a high bed, as well.  It works nicely for being bent over.

    Hey @LG2793 -- I've been TTC for only three months and I was on the pill for 15 years prior to the past three months, so I'm not 100% sure what's going on with my body prior to ovulation, BUT I will say that for two out of my past three LH surges (I'm tracking with OPKs) I've had really sore nipples on the first day of the LH surge.  The soreness usually persisits for about a week then slowly dwindles during that last week (then I get my period).

    So, I would say that soreness is a really good indicator that you are nearing ovulation!  Best of luck to you!!  Wishning you lots of good news in the coming few weeks ;)

    I actually tested this morning and about 30 minutes ago, I think I got my first +opk ever! The test wasn't darker than the control, but the exact same darkness. I about passed out. Called DH and he started crying at work... :)

    Thats great news! It doesn't have to be darker so long as it is as dark so you're on the right track :).

    @LG2793 - that's great news!!  That's exactly what happens to me.  Usually the next day (or within the next few hours) after my test and control are the same color the test line actually becomes darker than the control. This means you should ovulate in the next 24-48 hours (with 36 hours being the average).   GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!  And get busy ;)

    Not really... they are kinda awkward. And if you move just so you can actually fall off.  Upside: they have handles that work nicely in conjunction with the fuzzy velcro cuffs - much more comfy than the metal ones.
