Parenting after a Loss

Another TTCALer intro

Hi ladies! I didn't think I'd intro over here because the tickers/pics of LOs are hard for me right now, but you've all been so welcoming to my fellow TTCALers that I decided to give it a shot. I'm not sure how much I'll hang out over here, but I figured I should intro in case I decide to be over here more and start posting. I love being able to have a child-safe zone!

My DD will be 3 in May. She was conceived with the help of Femara. Since then, I've had 4 losses (natural mc at 6 weeks, missed mc followed by D&C at 9.5 weeks, cp, and ectopic). The first 2 BFPs were unmedicated cycles and I was still BFing DD, so both of those came as kind of a surprise (we were trying, but didn't think it would happen). We went back to the RE after burning the bench from my D&C and started up on Femara again, at which time I had to wean DD :( I had a cp on my first Femara cycle. I then switched REs and had lots of RPL testing done and found out that I have thin PCOS and two genetic clotting disorders. If I get another BFP, I'll be on Lovenox throughout the pregnancy. My most recent Femara cycle resulted in an ectopic that's being treated with mtx, so I'm waiting for that to resolve and I'm benched until May. I think I'm done with medicated cycles for now, so we may just try on our own depending on what the RE has to say at my post-ectopic consult.

I look forward to getting to know you ladies!

I am very sorry for your losses.  I was also on Femara when we conceived DS, but have also chosen to go the unmedicated route this time.  I hope you are able to find the support that you need on this board.
