Good morning! I wanted to do an intro here (just as my fellow TTCALers had). I had intro'd at 2IF after someone suggested it me, but I don't have an IF dx, so I didn't really feel I could call the board "home". I have lurked and lurked and I love how welcoming you all were to
@morethansparrows08,
@frenchteachermama and
@rmpar29. I want to be honest and I am very nervous about posting an intro. I hate drama and I would never intentionally hurt anyone. As many of you read Sparrow's intro, you may have also read the link someone posted from TTCAL since it was commented in her intro. I am only bring it up since "it" was already mentioned. I was the OP of that thread. Again, I never meant to hurt anyone or stir up drama. I don't want you to have a bad impression of me. I am new and made an honest mistake and learned from it. I am looking forward to calling this place home, if you will have me. With all that being said, let me intro...
My name is Stephanie, I will be 30 in April. MH is 31 and we have been married for 4.5 years. Our son turned 3 in January. We have had a total of 3 losses. My first MC was before my son, and had 2 more last year (it's all in my siggy). We burned the bench in Feb, but decided to TTA until May/June. I am a school nurse. Having a Feb/March baby will allow me to get a longer mat. leave since I don't work in the summer. I was a SAHM for almost 2 years until I accepted the job as a school nurse.
I'm not a complete "crunchy mom", but I did nurse my son for 19 months (self weaned

wish he would have done 2 years) and he had store bought baby food once while we were on vacation. I made all his food in my kitchen. If I can offer anything to the nursing or home-made-baby-food-making mommies, just ask...And congrats to new mommies on their precious rainbows babies!!!
I am active on the private TTCAL with living children check-in that
@rmpar29 is running. She is an amazing check-in leader and I am so glad I have the check-in. All the ladies that participate are helpful, kind and have become my friends. I look forward to seeing the check-in here and getting to know more TTCAL mommies on PAL. I also wanted to give ((HUGS)) to those that may have had a recent loss.

I also used breast milk for EVERYTHING! MH thought I was weird. He came home one day and gave us all pink eye. DS was only 5 months old and had it. They gave him drops and ointment, but I didn't want to give it to him. I researched and they said BM treats pink eye and OMG it did! I put it in his eye and it cleared up by the next day. I actually used his rx for my eye and I was so glad I didnt' put it my baby's eye. It stung so bad. I ended up clearing mine with BM as well.
