NMR: kids are weird.

I just went in to check on my 4 yr old before heading to bed myself only to find him asleep in between the mattress and the fitted sheet. Rest of the bed still in tact. Just about gave me a heart attack until I found him. He also told me that I need to "uh check the calendar mom because I only do puppet shows Wednesdays and Fridays." when I asked him to put on a show for his brothers earlier today when he was complaining he was bored because it's -17 out today and wouldn't let him play in the snow. They sure do keep life entertaining!

    My 3 yr old told me his 'peepee' hurts. I asked him what happened and he said he thinks it might be backward......

    This is TODAY
    So I'm still homebound with our newborn due to RSV season. DH takes the other kids to church this morning. The twins stay in nursery the entire time and the older two kids only go to class for the first half and then to service with DH the second half.

    DH gets everyone seated and decides to excuse himself to the men's room since he over did it on coffee (TMI, sorry, LOL).. He didn't want to leave the 5 yr old alone, or take her to the men's room with him, obviously.
    He clearly instructs both kids to BEHAVE, STAY PUT, and DON"T MAKE A PEEP. He will be RIGHT back. No biggie, there were adult friends of ours seated all around them that were also keeping an eye
    So he's gone maybe 8 minutes, and as soon as he starts walking back to his seat, he sees our son, kneeling on the floor, between the rows, with his arms pulled inside of his shirt with only his hands out of the sleeves, roaring at everyone around him like he's a T-Rex.. DH said the 5 yr old was looking so embarrassed. 13 yr old still can't answer what he was thinking on that one....I'm not sure whether to blame this on puberty brain or what...

    @melissalynay90 , Edited to add, and I can TOTALLY see him doing the potato chip thing in your siggy!!

    The other day my 4yo came up to me and said, "mama, your boobs are so...milky!"

    Our 3yo comes up with a lot of good ones.

    For about 2 weeks, there was a "meow meow cat" that lived inside her mouth. Sometimes it got hungry. Sometimes it would come out and she would pet it. Then one day "it ran away" and we haven't seen or heard from it since.

    She is also convinced I'm carrying 3 babies instead of 2... because one is a "little baby yap yap doggy."

    My son does it when he watches tv at night sometimes :) I saw it and had to put it in my siggy!
