Flinstone gummies

Does anyone's LO take Flinstone gummies?

The reason I'm asking is because DS has been taking them for a few months now and in the past few weeks he started getting dry red spots on his legs. I thought it could just be dry skin caused by the cold weather or eczema but he started scratching it a lot. I switched his laundry detergent about 2 weeks ago and his body wash and that seems to help a little.

H mentioned that it could be from the Flistone gummies since my SIL mentioned our niece has had a similar rash while giving her the vitamins. DS stopped taking them few days ago and hopefully we'll see if anything improves.

He's going to his pedi on Friday so we'll see what she says.

Re: Flinstone gummies

  • @bostonkisses I read so many things online about toddlers/kids having a rash after taking them.

  • DS takes another brand that my sisters work sells. She works for a chiropractor that has a lot of organic vitamins, minerals, oils that they also sell.

I know this is no help, but I agree with your DH. It could very well be the vitamins.
  • Maybe there's something in there he's allergic to?

We've taken them here and never had that issue.  We don't use them anymore, though, because I tried the Target brand for cheaper and DD likes the taste better.

  • It must be one of the dyes they use. I wont give it to him until I see if his rash clears up. Poor DS
