Mixing breastmilk with alcohol with "clean" breastmilk

Happy Mardi Gras ladies!!

I am planning on indulging in a few hurricanes to celebrate my favorite holiday, Party Gras. I plan on BF before I start drinking, but will need to pump throughout the day while LO gets frozen BM.

I saw someone on here mention not dumping the breastmilk with alcohol, but rather mixing it with "clean" milk. Do any of you know in what ratio I would need to do this to dilute it enough for use?

    Are you from nola?? I am from there originally and now live in Austin. I miss Mardi Gras something terrible!!!

    AmyG has suggested this before. I would dilute it as much as possible without wasting any. Maybe divide it across batches from the next few days in the fridge.

    I wish I were from nola! I'm from St. Louis, and we do Mardi Gras pretty big here! I love it more than Christmas lol.

    We are from STL but live in Iowa now. We come back home pretty frequently though, especially for Mardi Gras and St. Patricks day. My husband has guaranteed at least once a month visits between March and August by buying Cardinals tickets for one game a month. I can't wait to move back, STL has so much to do!

    If you get drunk and you wait to pump until you sober up...does the milk in your boobs loose it's alcohol content or does it remain despite time passed? I've wondered this for a while...
