"Games" LO likes to play

What "games" does your LO like to play?  DD likes to play a game that entails her pulling her bib over her face and frantically kicking her arms and legs until you pull it down.  Sometimes she will laugh if you yell "peek-a-boo" or "hello"  but usually she just looks at me like i'm an idiot and proceeds to put her bib right back over her face.

This game has a s/o called "roll and cry"  and entails DD rolling from her back to belly and then getting mad that she's on her belly.  The rules stipulate that you then must roll her back and then watch as she rolls right back to her belly.  Rinse and repeat.  Over and over and over.

Anyone else spend a lot of time playing cute-at-first-but-boring-as-hell-after-awhile games?

Re: "Games" LO likes to play

  • Yep! everytime I put her down she rolls on her belly and cries, so I flip her over, and rolls right back, spits up, cries and repeat.
Oh yea, and she doesn't stop talking. ever. Haha

  • DS LOVES to put blankets or burp clothes over his face. He brings them up to his mouth and then thinks it's really funny when you pull them down. But right now his favorite game is "let's see how many things I can put in my mouth"

  • LO pulls blankets or his shirts over his head.  Then fusses if he can't get them off or down.

He also constantly tries to eat my hand and gets mad because it doesn't fit in his mouth like his fist does.

Right now he is on his side kicking his musical lion toy and punching the box of pampers we just got.  I moved him because he looked uncomfortable, but he screamed until I put him back.

  • We also do the bib thing. And he thinks it's fun to put his hands in his mouth after we take them out. He knows he shouldn't do it and I know he knows that because he stares at us and slowly puts his hands back in his mouth. At first it was cute and we laughed but now we get tired of getting up every 2 seconds to take his hand back out and insert pacifier, teething ring, toy, or whatever.
  • I'm laughing loudly in my office at all of these. JBBB, man ;)
DS is in team bibs / burp clothes / blankets game, kick all the things game, fit all the things in my mouth game, and lately, play with men's facial hair game. We also do tickle monster and peek a boo. He's intently interested in the dog, so my fear is the next game is going to include her lol.

Dd's favorite games are "peek a boo", "laugh at mom's horribly off-key singing", and "pull the pacifier out of my mouth and get mad because the pacifier isn't in my mouth anymore". She's also starting to get really in to "let's take a closer look at mom's hair" and "baby death grip on the dog's ear". I love her :x

  • We play having screaming/squealing conversations. She screams or gurgles and then gets quiet so I can have a turn. Anytime I yell or scream she gets a thrilled smile that I am talking with her and then takes a other turn. It's so fun and adorable!
  • Color me confused as well. I thought hands in the mouth were fine... plus, he's teething, so trying to get them out would be next to impossible...

  • DS LOVES to bite, gum my face or grab my lips with such force I think he's going to pull them off. He then thinks it's hilarious when I pull his hands away or avoid his mouth and proceeds to do it over and over.

He also loves to frantically kick and wiggle and squeal every.single.time I am trying to put his diaper on. He's going to be a rambunctious little guy the older he gets. I can see it now, I'll lose those last 7 lbs. (and my mind) running after him when he becomes mobile.

  • She plays the Roll and Cry game, too.

She also has one called "Grab the Nipple". Usually while nursing, she tries to be sneaky and grab onto the other one. I usually have her hold my thumb instead, but as soon as I stop paying attention, she starts reaching for it. And now she's playing it with DH, too. And it's a deathgrip.

  • My baby is an over achiever he loves to play the PlayStation.

  • DD loves peek a boo, loves it when her little stuffed monster "gets her"…. I hold it above her head and make it kiss her really fast (that makes her belly laugh). Loves to watch dogs while on tummy, and we dance party because I can't get DS to dance party with me…. he HATES dancing! WTF
  • He loves to play smack the bottle out of my mouth and cry because I'm hungry and have milk all over my face.
Also he loves when we sing and read to him.

Mine plays the "grab the pee hat washcloth game" as well, but then tries to eat it. He loves to eat my hair and be tickled by it, mouth my face, have me sing "Old McDonald" but only wants the pig noises, and loves to play the "take me all over and name things" games.

He has not figured out the drop and throw game yet, but I am sure it is coming!

My baby thinks Xbox is way better than PlayStation. She's a pro at GTA V. At least, she's a pro at moving the joystick so DH's character runs out into the wide open and gets shot down instantly. It's actually super cute, she sits on his lap while he plays and holds onto his thumbs. She definitely understands that he is controlling the game with the controller.
  • Taking the paci in and out of her mouth. Grab my lips n glasses. Loves when I sing itsy bitsy spider!! She could be crying and as soon as I start Singing it she stops.

  • He likes to throw his toys on the floor & then cry, repeatedly hit his bottle out of his mouth & cry, scoot backwards when I go to fasten his diaper or hold his feet up so I can't fasten it & he thinks it's the funniest thing ever when we kiss his belly.
  • DD loves to play sound asleep in my arms, I put her in her pnp and she's wide awake. Then if I try to soothe her she screams when I pick her up she smiles like the Cheshire Cat.

She also enjoys pull mommy's glasses off and then hold them with the death grip so she can't have them back.

My favorite game is when get takes she likes to practice her new sounds. She just learned huh. So she's constantly saying it and it sound like she is panting. It's hilarious.

  • She just learned the "scoot under the cat scratch tunnel and scream" game which is the next level of "pull something, usually the shower curtain or a bow over my eyes and scream" game.

She also loves the scoot backwards when I try to snap the diaper cover game and the pull binky out and scream game.

She also enjoys blowing raspberries, shaking her head back and forth when you do, and doing high fives (she kind of gets it hahaha). She does watch her sister play NES and enjoys the ps2.
