EBF/EP ladies: How often are you LOs eating?

G is EBF and I just packed up pumped milk for her first day of daycare tomorrow. She's still eating every 1 1/2- 2 hours. Pedi seems fine with that, even though it's often, so I'm not worried. I packed 2 extra bottles for tomorrow, just in case. Out if curiosity, how often are your little ones eating?

DD eats every 1.5-3 hours and is EBF but going to daycare tomorrow, so not sure how that will change. Sending 4oz bottles. We shall see!

Mine eats about every 2-2 1/2 hrs and sometimes like every hour. How much milk are you packing? I don't have a clue what she's taking and she goes to the sitter next week

LO is 10 weeks and is still eating pretty much every 3 hrs during the day and anywhere from 3-6 hr stretches overnight (I EBF). I'm still holding out hope that the consistent long nighttime stretches are just around the corner!

I packed 6 3.5 oz bottles for 8:30 - 5. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's enough. I'll have to leave early or have DH run home and grab frozen milk if not.

Unless it's a growth spurt, he eats about every three hours. Overnight he can usually do about a 6 hr stretch.

LO is 13 weeks and I leave 4-3.5 oz bottles a day. She only takes 3 of them from 9-6. The last thing I do before leaving in the morning and the first thing I do when I home is nurse her. She also sleeps 8-9 hour stretches at night. It worries me because I don't think it's enough but her pedi says he's happy with her weight gain...she's in the 87th percentile. Try sending what LO usually eats (every 2/3hours) plus an extra or two. I would ask if they throw unfinished bottles out. DD2 will take a gulp or two and fall asleep. If she wakes up within an hour we let her finish it.

LO is 10 weeks and is every 2 hours during the day unless he naps and then he may go 3-4. He can go 6-7 at night

C eats every 2.5-3hr during the day and can go 5-7hr at night. I leave 3-3.5oz bottles with her Gigi when I drop her off.

This sounds a lot like my LO - same sleep patterns. Thank you, that makes me feel a little better about what I packed for bottles. I plan to nurse right before I leave and as soon as we get home as well.

The LC said to make sure I do a bottle a day and to start with 3oz and see if she's still hungry after that go up a half an ounce at a time to see what works for her. 3.5 usually works.

We just started daycare, too. We EBF, so I nurse as soon as he's up- around 4am then one more time before we leave (or I can nurse him upon drop off to daycare) then he takes a 4oz bottle every three hours. I am going to ask them to hold off on his last bottle if he seems okay so I can nurse when I pick him up rather than pump, but that will only be about a 30-45 min delay. So to answer your question, about every 3 hours most of the day, but in the evening he nurses about every 1.5-2 hours until bedtime.

My LO is 12 weeks old and he eats 10-11 oz total while I'm at work from 8-5:30ish. I've started trying to up it in hopes of getting more sleeping and less eating in the middle of the night. We are lucky to get a 4 hour stretch, but mostly it's every 1-2 hours at night again. I guess he's reverse cycling or comfort nursing while I'm home.

Mine is similar to this. Sometimes in the morning he will eat 1.5 hours apart but then he does some 3 hour stretches after about 11am

LO is 13 weeks. She eats about every 3 hrs during day. She is EBF. Our last night feeding starts at 7. She wakes up 1-2 times at night to eat. She has only had 3 bottles so far of 3 oz.

My LO is 13 weeks, he eats every 2 hours... Pedi thinks the feeldings are too close by, but if I can handle breastfeeding so often I should keep it up. I'm glad I'm not alone on LO eating very often ...

Well, he WAS eating every 3 hours like clockwork, but the past week or so has been fussier and ranging from 2--3 hours (and sometimes 2 is a stretch).

She eat about every three hours during the day, she has fussy days that she will spend 3 hours on the boob at a time then eat again after an hour. She sleep from 8:30/9pm to 6/6:30am. So I send two 4oz bottles with her for 5 hours and she's never used the second bottle.

LO eats every 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours. I pack 4 5 oz bottles every day. She usually eats 3 a day, but I'd rather send too many than not enough.

He is 11 weeks and eats every 1.5-3 hrs. In the evening, he usually does one 4-4.5 hr stretch of sleep before waking to eat. But after that its about every 2 hours til morning. He starts daycare next week and I'm really nervous!

She eats every 2-3 hours. Occasionally I'll get a 4 hour stretch out of her but those are new and rare. Though the past few days she's been eating every 1-2 but only in small amounts. Hope all goes well.

She eats every 3 hours. She never really seems to get hungry before then either, but I feed her anyways.

Every 3-4 hours during the day. He was only eating 2 4oz bottles while I was at work (7a-4:30p), but had an additional 3-4 oz the last 2 days. He recently started sleeping 8 hours at night.
