Yes! And I'm only 7.5 weeks! I fall asleep at like 8 every night. I'm also amazed at how often I'm hungry (even though nothing sounds good, sigh). How far along are you?
BFP#1: 11/20/11, EDD 7/25/12, Emily Iris arrived 7/29/12 at 7 lb., 3.5 oz.
BFP#2: 8/25/13, EDD 5/4/14, MMC confirmed on 9/23/13, D&C on 9/26/13
BFP#3: 2/3/14, EDD 10/15/14, fraternal TWINS confirmed 2/21/14, two BOYS confirmed on 4/15/14!
Haha yes the hunger (especially in the beginning!) is utterly shocking!! My life revolved around eating practically full size meals every 30-45 mins! And I didn't put a pound on for months! As for being tired...keep a close eye on your iron levels as they get low a lot during twin pregnancies. I've had to up my iron pills three times this pregnancy (I get dizzy and tired when it's low). I also get utterly exhausted for a few days every time the babies have a growth spurt. It's crazy how much these things are noticeable and how much they affect you with multiples! I'm almost 37 weeks now...and can say that you're in for a crazy, but fun ride
Yes...it's just physically exhausting now. At almost 30 weeks, just getting out of bed to go to the bathroom is like running a marathon. Everything wears me out. 8 more weeks, 8 more weeks, 8 more weeks. I can do htis.

Oh this is so me. I swear I have to give myself at least 1.5 hours to get ready in the morning so I can rest between steps. Shower, lay down 15 minutes, blow dry hair rest 10 minutes, makeup while sitting down and we won't even discuss how long it takes to recover from putting on panties and shoes and socks. I'm in the same boat I just keep chanting 8 more weeks 8 more weeks! It's not really that far away I can totally do this... I think anyway.

Exactly...and I just keep thinking it's going to get harder the bigger I get. DH is going to have to help me get dressed pretty soon and put my shoes on for me. I have 4 weeks left of work (and I remember when my OB said early on she'd sign me out at 34 weeks, I thought I'd be able to make it to 35/36...now I can't wait until 34/35 weeks to start my leave. I probably will work until 35 weeks (just to get some documentation done and everything settled), but not a day longer
You all make me feel so much better...I get exhausted doing almost anything...my DH laughs when he sees me resting on the sofa after my shower...21 weeks here and I know it is only going to get harder!

Yeah I was going to finish out this week and then take off work because between the exhaustion and the hip/pelvic pain I'm really struggling, but I got a slight guilt trip so now who knows how much longer I'll work. I tell myself at least being at work makes the days go by more quickly.
Yaaaaa, that burst of energy people talk about in the 2nd tri, mine lasted 3 weeks. Other than those three weeks I've been completely exhausted.
There's supposed to be a burst of energy?! j/k I remember one with DS, but this time whew... not much of anything going on here.
I'm still so exhausted I can barely function, but it is a little better than the first trimester. Except now just going to the store wears me out on top of the exhaustion, so I'm less exhausted but more fatigued... I'm sure that doesn't make any sense lol. I honestly don't know how I'll function once they get here, the first month with DS was a complete blur. I can only imagine how much more intense it'll be with newborn twins (plus a toddler).
I think it was more of a "I don't puke everything up and I can eat real food now'" type of energy burst
Oh yes! Used to come home from work and sleep then eat and then back to sleep. But it's nothing compared to how tired you will be that first year with twins, esp the first 4 months- brutal!
ALL the time. I'm 30 weeks and I can sleep in until 10 (on the weekends when hubby gets up with ds) and then still take a nap a few hours later. I'm barely able to stay awake this morning.... it doesn't help that my 3 year old seems to get up earlier and earlier every day
