DH is sick and kept me up last night because of it. So now he gets to sleep all day (he called in sick) while I get to deal with N, incredible sleep deprived. Good news? N STTN.

Yeah, all this snow and cold weather can bite me. I'm ready to take Grayson outside without him needing to be bundled!!

Also my best friend was supposed to come down this last weekend and told me she wasn't going to now because of the weather. Ok cool, I understand. Turns out she actually did come down but didn't tell me until late last night and she's leaving today!! WTH?!?! We haven't seen each other in 8 months and live 3 hours away from each other. I'm sad and upset that she didn't tell me and now we might now even get to see each other

I have a cold and DD has a cold, separation anxiety and 'I hate sleep' syndrome.

Also, I've realized that I hate having company. I didn't like it before I had DD and I really hate it. I don't want to have to entertain people while dealing with a fussy baby.

My left nipple is still broken from when E bit me and broke the skin. I keep having to pump on the left side because it hurts way too much to nurse, and E kept digging her tooth into the sore and re-opening it. It doesn't look infected, but is taking so long to heal that I need to call a doctor today, and then I realized I don't know which doctor to call. My OB? Our FP? A LC?

I got called into the hospital to do an admission at 1 am. When I finally got home, I could NOT fall asleep for the life of me. And I have a full day of clinic ahead of me. Awesome.

DD is abnormally active. Some days I really wish she were still like a pet rock. She's destroyed my rug and my couch in the course of one hour because she found food in the kitchen that she could bring in the livingroom and squish into cloth surfaces.

My damn eyes! I wake up every morning with them crazy bloodshot. Doesn't matter if I sleep a lot or a little or drink beer or water before bed. Every morning I looked like I just toked up or that Bob Costas farted on my pillow...ugh, those with glasses - I need to see an eye doctor prolly, right?

@thetamedshrew I've called my OB with breast problems but the ped usually can also deal with it. If it's more about my supply though I always stick with the OB because they are better with breastfeeding issues from the mommy's side. Or if you have a lactation consultant from the hospital they are good too. I didn't get an LC's card this time around but with DS1 they were on speed dial!

Now when DS1 pooped tar because he digested my blood I called the ped!

It will heal, it just takes a long time. Sorry

This time around DS2 is still toothless and has never bit me so I'm feeling really lucky! If you can soak it in salt water that usually heals all my cuts way faster. I swear the ocean or breastmilk is my answer to most medical problems!

Thanks, @calikat80! I just called the OB and they got a prescription for some cream. I haven't tried saltwater yet, so I'll try that too. It is really stressing me out because it's been two weeks of no healing. I have let her "empty" that side once a day, just so I don't get engorged or backed up on that side. The pump doesn't seem to get very much out. Maybe my pump is worn out.

Having a lovely day off with my husband. It's icy here, so I'm out of school. He was already off work. We loaded up in the 4-wheel drive truck to run some errands.

He ran a red light because he said he didn't see it. Then he drove past the business we needed to stop at and had to circle back around because he forgot. Clearly, his mind was on something else besides driving.

He then is barreling down the road, and the person in front if us is stopped. I quickly said his name to get his attention. We were seriously about to rear-end the people. I was not exaggerating. And we're driving in ice. It's not like you can stop fast.

He gets mad at me. Drives back to the house. Says he's not going anywhere else with me and storms in the house. I'm sorry that I'm trying to keep us from getting in a Wreck. How horrible of me.

Now I'm sitting out in the truck refusing to go in the house, and it's 13 degrees outside. So much for spending a nice family day together.

It probably wouldn't hurt to see an eye doctor. Do they hurt or anything when you wake up? I sometimes get allergies in my eyes that make them blood shot when I wake up and they are also dry and I feel like there is something in my eyes. I would definitely call and get checked out. My vision isn't something I shrug off lol I'd like to continue seeing things!

We got ice and snow last night. Everyone in my department made it in except the two bosses. They didn't bother to call or text the rest of us to let us know it was OK to stay home if we needed to. Instead they send an email to our work accounts letting us know they won't be here. I'm just grumpy because I never get snow days! And I'm over winter!

DH got up at 4 in the morning to go to the bathroom- well he woke up DD. She was screaming bloody murder, and he just went right back to bed. He yelled at me because I wasn't taking care of it.

btw, she was totally up at 4, and JUST started taking her nap. Thanks, DH for being a douche.

The don't hurt, but don't feel 100%. I've never had eye issues. Kids ruin everything. Thanks!

My SIL is coming in town this weekend and I am scared she is going to ask to stay with us. Last time she stayed with us, she got all huffy because I asked her if she could fill me in on her plans for the visit (didn't want real details- just she was staying with us for a week and I wanted to know if I should expect her around for dinner). She swore that we were such terrible hosts that she would never stay with us again.... but her mom's house can't really accommodate her and she already swore off staying with her other brother too... so... I'm afraid she'll ask to come back with us. And the answer is HELL NO. She is simply the worst possible house guest EVER.

And I have decided to be a SAHM when baby #2 gets here. But I am going to finish out the current school year. However, knowing that I will be leaving soon, really makes me unmotivated. I want to quit now!

I'm sick of my dad and stepmom treating me like since I SAH I have nothing to do and my time doesn't matter. I've asked them at least 5 times to call before dropping by. They have called a grand total of two times since DD was born. Sometimes I just don't answer the door because I don't feel like dealing with their stupidity. Then the next time I see them it is guilt-tripping, questions about what I was doing, and "Oh we had things for you and DD! We assumed you were sleeping."

Friday they stopped by unannounced again. My dad said he called last week, and I didn't answer so they just stopped by today. I only answered because I assumed it was the mom of the boy I babysit coming to get him early. Neither kid had napped. He was running around like a maniac, she was crying, and both kids needed lunch.

First thing out of my dad's mouth was, "Why is she always crying when I visit?" I haven't grown the lady balls to tell them off yet, but my patience wears thinner every time I see them.

In good news: The snow gave me a paid day off from babysitting

I had to work Friday night and Saturday night. Last night I came to work because we were expecting snow and ice. Today/night I'm stuck at work (literally) because of said snow and ice. That's 4 nights in a row away from Ellie. Who by the way, is currently sick AND teething.

My postpartum hair loss was ridic. Now it's growing back, so I have all these short hairs coming in all over my head in random patches. It looks especially gross in the front of my face. Short of buzzing off my entire head of hair to the scalp, there's isn't anything I can do.

At least it was 84 degrees. We've been in like 20 degree weather, if not lower, since November. I think there was 1 or 2 stray days where it got up to 60, but that's it. Last night it dropped to 5, but it felt like -15. Oh, and it snowed again.

J has a fever again and it sounds like his cough is getting worse. Then I found out my mil is sick and she babysat him yesterday. Her dr sounds like an idiot because she just calls him and they call in a script for antibiotics without even seeing her.

My tire is flat...AGAIN! I swear I have the worst luck with tires, even when they are brand new. So here I am, sitting at Canadian Tire, waiting for the stupid tire to be patched. Oh! And I have to buy new tires for my new (used) SUV. Yay!

ETA - aaaannnd my tire can't be fixed. So I wanted to replace the front two tires and they won't do it because they are winter tires and below 50%. Which makes no since as they are winter tires and I've only have them a couple years. Gah! We are suppose to put the car up for sale next week! Why, why now?
