  I have one brother who is 5.5 years older. We have the same parents. We look NOTHING alike, he has olive skin with dark eyes and hair and it am fair skinned with lighter hair and blue eyes.
  He is married with two kids, a 6 year old and 1 year old. Sadly he lives 2 hours away. Because of our age gap, we've never been very close. I was always his annoying little sister and then he moved out and went to college (only returning home one summer) when I was 12, so I basically felt like an only child after 12. We've become much closer as we've gotten older and now I'd actually consider his wife to be one if my closest friends. Because of our age gap, I've always been jealous of siblings close in age and for that reason I knew I wanted my kids close in age.

  I have two younger brothers. 7 years difference with #1 and 9 years difference with #2. You guys know alllllll about #2 and his problems. I am not that close with #1 because he is kind of a strange dude. We want to be close but have trouble connecting. He is very immature and lies a lot so it is frustrating, especially given that he is 25. He moved 3 hours away so I don't see him often but he is a great uncle.

  I have one older brother - about 1.5 years older. We haven't lived anywhere near each other since he left for college, so, that's been about16 years. We were never really that close, probably because my mom inadvertently made me feel like I needed to compete/be better than him. He's a good guy and is very intelligent. He has two daughters, 8 and 3. We talk every once in awhile, but I haven't seen him for over a year.

  I have a brother who is 2.5 years older than I am. He lives a little over 2 hours away and I see him about once a month. We used to be super close, but then we each had kids and when we do see each other, we can never really just talk because someone always needs our attention.

  I have two half-siblings (my dads kids from a previous marriage). We were not raised together. My sister and I only really started talking regularly about 10 years ago. My brother is 11 years older with an almost 7 year old son and my sister is 8 years older with a 6 year old son and 4 year old son.
