I doubt I'll make it to the end, but it's a good distraction from my heart burn and the awful stretching pains I'm having across my stomach. We tried to watch some of the nominated movies this year. Dallas Buyers Club was great, but seriously intense. Glad Jared Leto won! And isit just my pregnancy hormones, or was he looking hot tonight? I'm absolutely not into long hair on guys, but those eyes. Hot hot hot! Jim Carrey is on presenting and he gets on my nerves. Ellen's opening was pretty funny. What do you think so far?

not watching, but came here to say I think Elsa Patakat's (Chris Hemsworth's wife) maternity gown was pretty much the worst thing I've ever seen.

I am, but mostly only to play Name That Tune to the background music themes they play. We haven't seen any of the Best Picture movies, I think we've only seen Frozen this year.

ETA: We also saw Iron Man 3.

Ewwww! I only caught a little bit of the red carpet and missed this one. Definitely not a fan of that dress. I did, however, love Kerry Washington's maternity gown.

I wasn't thrilled with either one. Kerry Washington's looked like a bed sheet held together with a clip to me.

@AnnieA75 - have you tried Rantadine for your heartburn? It is over the counter and both the pharmacist and my OB said it is safe to take daily. I take 75mg at dinner time and no more heartburn or reflux.

@ ltay1982, I haven't heard of it. Thanks! I'll ask my OB about it in my appointment tomorrow. Tums just isn't working for me anymore.

Watching! Love Ellen and there are some great dresses. However, I agree most maternity dresses were a miss for me. I liked Olivia Wilde's the best, but it was a tad boring.

I don't know how I'm still awake this late watching, especially when I was hoping to squeeze in trip to the gym before my OB appt at 8:30am. That's starting to sound too ambitious!

Ellen is pretty funny. Poor Bill Murray looks like he's been embalmed. Jammie Foxx is cracking me up. I really wish I could stay up for best picture and lead actor/actress.

I thought Olivia Wilde's dress looked great, but I actually loved Kristen Cavalleri's maternity dress the best from the red-carpet show on E.

Kerry Washingtons dress is unflattering. So is her makeup.
