I love Target but I get the sads when I shop there because there are so many things I see that I WANT when I walk around but I just cannot justify buying them.
I try to be good and sometimes I can just run in and grab the things from my list without extras, but it's hard. My last trip, I left with two items. The time before that, we spent nearly $200 on things we weren't planning on buying. Mostly baby clothes. Addictive.
It's at least $100 just to walk in there. I justify it by telling myself that the two things of formula I bought were at least 40-50 and diapers were 20 so it's all for the baby. Somehow that makes it ok. Lol
The other day I had formula, diapers, wipes, chocolate, and wine. When I got home and my husband saw what I bought he just laughed..,
Nowadays it's always under $60 A couple years ago...I could go 3 days in a row and spend $100 each time without realizing #clearlyaddicted #SAHisgreatrehab
Once i went to target to buy one thing and i came out with that one thing and nothing else. I posted it to Facebook and got a bigger response than having a kid did. True story.
I was so excited to have Target open up in my city this year, and when I finally went, I felt cheated. Granted they do have some nice stuff there, much more exciting than the Zellers they replaced here in Cda. But @crunchymama11 is right, it's the same idea as a Walmart. I have to admit though, I am a 'shop local snob' and like to support smaller markets and will go to 10 different places to buy things rather than one stop shopping.
Now to be immediately hypocritical.. I do love Costco and our proud amount is $250. Spending less than that seems incredulous! I thought if we went more often we would spend less than the giant $500+ trips we used to do, but apparently, there are always things to find.
At least $100 every time. When I say I'm headed to target MH insists on coming with so he can ask "do you really need that?" with everything I put in the cart. Then I spent closer to $50 lol
Around $100. And I always want to cry when I get home. Wtf did I buy?? CVS is the worst. I cannot leave that store under $80. How many nail polishes and chap sticks does a person need??!!!

Walgreens does this to me. My nail polish collection is vast and unorganized. And I have to buy more chap stick, I just lost another one!
Usually around $100. If we want to talk places where we always spend a lot, let's talk Costco! We go like every other week and are always over $300.
We congratulate ourselves anytime we leave Costco having spent less than $100. ----------------- Confession: I've never been to Costco. The closest one is over 60 miles away.
I voted 50-100, but that is kind of a lie, because I make two different kinds of trips to Target. Type #1 involves just shopping around for odds and ends (no list) and ends up being usually under 25. I would say that happens 1x per month or less. Trip type #2 is a weekly grocery trip and ends up being between 100-120 usually. But I totally identified with this comic! I definitely get 'Target Trance,' like 'ooooOOOoo, look at all the pretty shiny things!'

We have 2 super Walmarts but no Target.
I can only do this if DH doesn't come with me!

However a lifetime ago when we didn't budget I would drop hundreds there because I worked in the same parking lot as Target.
