Hi,
So, I just got a BFP for little Tigger Two a few days ago, and the only thing I'm certain of, is that I want a better birth experience than last time.
The readers digest from DDs birth is the dr broke my water, found meconuim, put me on pitocin and wouldn't let me stand up. She was sunny side up, and since I couldn't stand, she couldn't move, so I eventually got an epidural to avoid a c-section--my BP was skyrocketing from pain. So.... not quite what I had wanted.
I live in LA (Chatsworth) and I would love to start this out from the beginning on a better path.
I'd love any reccomendations for a midwife or an OB who tends to keep things more natural. I'd prefer someone with an ultrasound machine (my last doc had one and getting an U/S every checkup was AMAZING) but that isn't a must.
Last part of the puzzle, any suggestions for insurance? I'm on a temporary insurance at the moment, and ACA plans I'm eligible for aren't impressing me.
TIA
