So for the past 4 mos I have been battling laundry problems. I have tried ecosprout, tiny bubbles, honest liquid, fuzzibunz new liquid.

I am now using 2 scoops of nellies.

The issue is the diapers don't get clean or if they do they have this weird smell after LO goes to the bathroom.

We have a great local cd store but they are at a loss.

We have a top loader and have had the drain cleaned. We have soft water.

When I used honest the diapers were clean but very stiff. We have a mix of all different types of diapers and I was my wet bags and pail liners with them.

I do a cold rinse then warm water heavy wash then pull out the covers wet bags and pail liners and dry on extra low then hang dry.

Our clothes come out very clean and LO has horrible reflux so spots a ton.

She is on solids.

Can you do a warm rinse, hot wash, followed by a warm rinse?

All the rinses are cold water, I can run a light load on warm or hot. I also just stripped all the diapers with rlr.

Does it kind of smell like detergent after you wash? When I first started I noticed that when I took them out of the wash, they smelled like the detergent I was using.

If that's the case do a hot water strip (washmultiple times with hot water). Then for future cycles make sure add additional rinse cycles at the end.

@Chickypoo2468 is our soft water expert in residence; perhaps she can help. I remember her talking about finding different solutions that helped with her toddler's diapers vs her NB's diapers, and I think it involved using an extra wash cycle or two here or there. Anyway...paging Dr. MK. Dr. MK, you're needed in the Laundry Room, stat.

I have soft water, or at least not very hard water as best I can tell from online research. I do a rinse, hot wash with extra rinse. I have a front loader HE. As far as I know the rinses are cold water.

To be honest, since you've tried all the CD "safe" detergents, I'd try just using regular old powdered Tide for HE. I really wanted my eco friendly Ecos detergent to work, but in the end, Tide just works better. I'll still use my Ecos for clothes that have been worn, but aren't really dirty.

I have found I can wash my cotton prefolds/snap ins in most any detergent in my old top loader with hard Omaha water without issue. But, I have to use Tide powder on my mf snap ins/inserts or after a few uses they start to stink.

Water level is med or small
Tide is not an option my LO has super sensitive skin and any time tide is near her she breaks out.
