NBR - Lost Contacts in iPhone 4S

What the??  When I woke up this morning all my contacts were gone out of my phone.  I didn't do any updates or make any changes.  A few people have told me to hook my phone up to my iTunes.  When I do that, nothing happens??  I pulled up Icloud on my computer and the contacts are still there.  Does anyone know how to get the Icloud contacts on the computer back on the phone?

    Ok - just got the answer.  So if anyone ever has this issue, here is the solution:

    Go into you phone settings - Then iCloud - Then switch the contacts slide from off to on (I had to do this a couple of times)  - Then they were back!!  

    Yay!!
