I think lo is dropping a nap....

He's 11 months today.  Is it too early for this?  He had a stomach virus this past weekend and is still not right, but I noticed some sleep issues before the virus.  We sleep trained a few months ago but now he is waking at night again and having trouble going back to sleep.  Is this familiar to anyone else?

  • I'm wondering the same thing. He fights naps more often, and has started going longer between them now too. Night wakings here too, but we went from the walking/crawling regression, straight into the teething with molars thing. So he hasn't STTN consistently for a while now. His naps seem shorter too. The only problem is that he still can't make it through the morning without that nap tho....

  • My DS has also been having issues with naps.  He fights so hard to keep from napping, but he clearly needs one because he will become so hyper if he doesn't get one.  It's now taking me about 30 minutes to get him down for a nap whereas before it took around 10-15.

  • DD is 11.5 months and usually only takes one nap. It is rare and a busy day/restless night/first attempt at nap was too short kind of situation if she naps twice. She "dropped" her second nap sometime around 10 months.

  • DD only takes one nap a lot of days. And on the occasion that she does have two naps one of them is super short; like less than 45 minutes
  • He's going from 2-1.  Gr.  The afternoon nap was so clutch for us!
