Cows milk

MIL watched DS last night and gave him cows milk because he wouldn't take his formula. I'm feeling really guilty about it. I just wish she would have called an said he wasn't taking the bottle. I would have happily come and fed him. I think she just wanted to show she could take care of him no matter what, but I wish she hasn't done that. It's making me really worried about his little tummy.

    I would be very mad and you don't have to feel quilty about it. Your LO will be fine little bit upset maybe. Back in my childhood, there was not any formula where I come from and they used to feed babies with cow milk mixed with little bit of water.

    Did she give him a lot, like a whole bottle? I'm sorry she did that, that's so frustrating. Like PP said, I'm sure he's going to have diarrhea/constipation and probably an upset stomach. But I don't think one bottle of cow's milk is going to cause serious damage, he just might have a hard time with it :(

    Hope he is feeling ok. He should be ok as far as tummy, maybe a belly ache. I'd be having a loooong talk with mil tho

    He has been up every hour to tonight. Idk if it is his stomach or the fact that he got shots Friday, but it has been a bad night. I feel sad for him.
    And yes @llybeck it was a whole bottle of it. =/
    It's just so unlike MIL to do something like that. I'm thinking I can just set some ground rules. And maybe let her know calling is no big deal. Yeah we were drinking, but he would probably take a bottle from me better than anyone.
