I read that the rule of thumb is "10 movements in 10 hours" considering how many hours a day baby sleeps it sounds strange to expect them to move 5 times an hour even when theyre sleeping. I go about 5-6 hours sometimes before I feel movement. I'm a ftm at 25 weeks.hampire said:I was told in my childbirth class not to bother the doctor unless you felt less than 10 movements (no matter how soft) in two hours. I don't know how universally accepted that idea is though.
I wouldn't hold my breath waiting on a response from this one. She's posted 7 discussions and only replied 8 times. 6 to her own discussions. This is another one of those posters that drop in needing support/encouragement/reassurance and then pop back out.Rachel5130 said:Truth be told, I don't pay much attention to the lack of movement. If a day went by with nothing, I may be concerned, but I feel like most things are nothing. However, it is always better to be safe than sorry. This is really a question for an OB. Even if we could answer this via the internet, we wouldn't choose to, as it is a potentially serious issue. Also, have you come back to see what people have said? I've seen no sign of you on these responses. Edit spelling
