Refrigerating milk

How long can breastmilk stay in the refrigerator after being pumped?? And how long can breastmilk stay in the refrigerator after being thawed out?? (I have a freezer stash as well) I tried google but it was no help.

    Frozen breastmilk should be used within 24 hours after thawing.

    If it's borderline in the time it's in the fridge, smell it before offering. If it smells ok then it's fine.

    Pardon my question, what does it smell like if it's gone bad? I've smelled a "soapy" smell which I hear can be normal from the enzymes. Does spoiled milk smell funny when it's warmed or when it's cold from the fridge as well?

    Yes, soapy smell is normal. Spoiled milk will smell rancid and taste sour.
