Saturday randoms

This morning we were at a second hand book stall. T picked up a book, paged through it deliberately, found the paragraph that she wanted and pointed out the heading to me: Parents are superfluous.
(Seriously, she paged through it, stopped on this page, and pointed to the heading.)
 
I guess my work here is done.

(It was a Miss Manners book - I think the title is something like How to raise perfect children!)

    I think I am getting a chest cold. I haven't been sick since before I got pregnant.
    So how long are we going to keep that long random thread going? Its on the bottom of page two now and I'm lazy and want it to be on the first page.

    Alexis threw up this morning without any warning and she acts fine. She seems okay so I think I'm still going to dinner and a movie with some friends.

    im bumping and drinking wine:) we went to a gtg with a moms group this morning at our library that had games, singing and dancing.

    my LO had lunch and knocked out when we got back...I'm headed that way in a few myself considering I cleaned and made dinner earlier.

    My husband is one of those people who never get sick. In all the years I have known him he has never had a cold or anything. He will sneeze a few times and blow his nose and that's as far as it gets...WTF?!

    @needutonite very good point about the mancold, I've heard they are rough.
    @Hismom12 does it ever bother you to hear all your students sniffing up yucky snot all day? My stepsons only blow their nose if I tell them and I can't stand the sound of snot being sucked up. :-&

    I just bought my first king cake of the season. It is taking everything I have to save it for the parade tomorrow and not eat it now. No one will miss a little baby slice right? :-\" side note I have been working out really hard and on a strict diet but I totally plan on eating tomorrow. And drinking LOTS!! I have a babysitter overnight and a DD watch out New Orleans :D

    Where is everyone? Ashley is sick and sleeping a lot so I have time to kill. I've got dinner prepped and the house is clean. Anyone? :-/

    Just finished running errand with wesley and now he is down for a nap. I still need to put everything away and clean the house and start laundry I don't want to do any of it and I still have to go grocery shopping too.

    We had a  coupon for a free inspection at the Honda Dealership. While we were there I talked the husband into test driving a mini van!
