So Grey's is finally back huh? WooHoo. (spoliers)

I'm happy to see Mer and Christina back to being friends. I was a little confused about what was going on with Derek though. What does "the president" want him to be doing? I'm bad with names but that blonde intern who was involved with Arizona for a hot second pisses me off. I didn't like how she got into that other interns head about her relationship with Dr McSexyPantsMrSexyEyesOMGIwannaBangHim... whatever his name is.

    You mean Avery? Yeah I pretty much hate all of the interns except for the one that is dating Karev, she's cool but the rest pretty much suck. Love that Callie and Arizona are still together though. Oh and the president wants him to help map the human brain, not sure why the president cares but apparently he does

    Yes. Avery... Yum. I'm glad Callie and Arizona are together too! Maybe they're just setting the story up and it will be more involved (regarding Derek). I mean obvs it was brain related but why does the presdent care and more so, what was Mer so fucking pissed about? (maybe they said and I wasn't paying full attention?)

    Mer is pissed because Derek was supposed to be working less so that she could her research project thing and he takes care of the kids, now he is going to have to work a lot more and she is going to be stuck with no time for her work

    It's the work he was doing with amputees.  Remember the woman who couldn't make her hand move, but when she focused on why she wanted to touch her husband it worked?  It changed outlook into how they map the brain.  Derek discovered this, so they want him on the team.  

    I love that avery and kepner got married.  I love that she chose him, and was sad when they made it look like they didn't work it out.

    I will be happy about Arizona, and Callie when I know that they are actually ok, and not secretly resentful of one another, because that was getting old.

    I like Karev and Wilson, so I hope they don't screw with that.  At least for a little while.

    I thought it was a good episode. I usually hate their premier episodes. There's always a huge build up in the finales, and 5 minutes (if that) of resolution in the premiers and its back to business as usual.

    Avery and Kepner piss me off because they should have been together all this time!!!

    Jackson and April looked kind of silly running out of the barn at the beginning of the episode. I liked how the episode ended though, with the ring and flashback.

    Momma Avery is going to kick their butts for being denied a wedding.

    I get why she's upset.  Getting left behind as a surgeon is a big fear of her's, and she knows that she can't deny him this opportunity, but that doesn't change the fact that it means she will have to put her work aside which is really important to her.  

    She doesn't get a say in how her own life is going.  And she can't because it's the president asking.

    My theory is that it was Avery, only because of the pro bono harassment statement and how he responded wen the board got together.

    My theory is that it was Avery, only because of the pro bono harassment statement and how he responded wen the board got together.
    I don't think he knew anything the rest of the board didn't know, just suspected because of the conversation he had earlier that day.

    I don't have this perspective. She seems like an adult having a tantrum. She does have say in how her life is going. She doesn't have to put her work aside. Again her life is where it is due to choices.
    That is debatable. Yes she chose to have kids but she does have a partner that should be doing equal shares, right now her choices are, contiue doing her research and have her kids in daycare all of the time and not have any parents around (kind of like her mom) or step back and be more of a parent so that Derek can work more, they both kind of suck.

    Lol it isn't real? Everything with Mer gets blown out of proportion though, that is why she didn't talk to Yang half the season because she is a drama queen about everything

    We don't know for sure...Leah (the blonde one) was sitting with Stephanie (the black one) and saying that the attendings are taking advantage and someone should stop it. Leah suggested Stephanie file complaints.

    Owen said there were three charges filed, but not WHO filed. Jackson assumed it was Stephanie, and I think the audience is also meant to think it was Stephanie.
