RH- ladies: timing of Rhogam shot

I'm 28 weeks but haven't gotten mine yet because it means two trips to the hospital and I work out of town. Is it awful if I'm a week or so late in getting it?? Feeling so disorganized and angry at myself!

I just went Tuesday and I was 30 weeks yesterday. It was when my drs office scheduled it.

I didn't get it last time until well into the third trimester. This time I got one at 10 weeks because of a subchorionic hemorrhage. I wouldn't worry.

I got mine a little late because my original appointment got bumped due to my MW being at a birth. She said it wasn't a huge deal, I was about a week over.

You're fine. I got mine at 29w1d. You'll get another in the hospital if the baby turns out to be Rh +. All is well.

I'm sure it's fine. I had one early on because of spotting but not getting my next one until Tuesday. I'll be 28w6d.

It's not the end of the world but would definitely make it a priority to get is as soon as you can. The reasoning behind 28 weeks is because it is good for 12 weeks and the estimate you will deliver close to 40 weeks leaving little room for blood to mix without being protected. Am I making sense here?

Im sure you are fine. I got mine at 28. When my dr originally told me about it, she said I couldn't get it UNTIL 28 weeks. So I'm sure there is a little leeway.

Last time, I didn't get mine until about 36 weeks bc my OB forgot about it and it was almost impossible to get into l&d at the hospital to get it. As long as you haven't had any bleeding, you should be fine if you get it a little late. But DO get it!

I'm going tomorrow for mine and I turn 30 weeks on Sunday. I went for my appointment today and he asked if I went yet for it and I said no and he just said to go soon he wasn't overly concerned.

I'll be 28w5d when I get mine. I asked my dr if it was a big deal and she said no. She really didn't tell me when I had to get it by. I have to go to the hospital for the shot and my glucose test which means taking a half day from work. I'm glad my boss is nice and isn't docking me the time. I've had too many days off as is because of snow.
