Totally own up to stealing this from a friend on S14, but I'm curious...what's the farthest you've ever gone on a first date?

Also, coming up with name for these things to not make it completely lame is hard!

Although I will say that DH was the first guy to put the "brakes" on before I did. Such a well behaved gentleman

I guess I understand the whole appeal of girls that hold out now.... I totally wanted it more when I had to wait.

Yeah, I think of date as you made conscious decision to spend time together for a meal or activity. Drunken hook ups not withstanding

That said, dh and I slept together when we were still friends, and it turned us into a dating type direction. Funny how that works!

@jmar2011, you word that as though you've had one one night stand. Don't feel slutty for that, I've had several. I went through a slightly promiscuous stage after a particularly bad break up. Slutty, but lots of fun

After 3 years of dating when DH and I finally went down that road it was pretty much me begging him... Lol. I thought teenage boys were supposed to be the bad influence, not the girls...

I had gone all the way on first dates before H, a few times (but I think I knew the person before hand with most of them).

When I met DH I was totally over all dating and men and wouldn't sleep with him for a while. I think it was agood move in my part.

Every time we talk about sex and partners I feel very risque.

I also went thru a bit of a promiscuous stage right before I met DH. A couple of controlling long term boyfriends and I guess I had some oats to sow. I had a string of 1 month 'relationships' most of which I jumped into pretty fast. I don't know how much actual dating went down.

DH and I met at work so it was a lot of water cooler banter and some sneaky boozy make out sessions at friday work drinks before I agreed to go home with him. We still never really dated though. But we're coming up 5 years of marriage and 7 years together so I guess something went right!

DH and I were also hanging out as friends and ended up sleeping together. Because I was drunk and refused to sleep on his couch. We'd been friends for 6 years before any thing happened between us. Then we wondered what the heck took so long!

All the way!! Just not on every first date! I knew DF before we got together but he was home from Iraq on R&R and so we hooked up one night, thinking it was a one nighter, and then the next night we went to eat but not really a date. I considered it my service to my country!!! Lol then he left an went back overseas and called me all the time and we emailed and somehow or another we were a couple when he came home. So then when he came home I went to see him an needless to say we didn't really have another "date" for a couple days!!! Been together for almost 6 years now! It's such a romantic story lmao
