I think I am in love with the Parenting board

Somehow I randomly stumbled on the board war between the Parenting and November 13 boards. It was a really entertaining way to spend the evening after the kids went to bed! Hilarious! Is anyone else following this?

I haven't seen it, but I actually am not a fan of the Parenting board. It moves so quick, there's no way I'd ever be able to keep track of what's going on unless that was the only board I ever went on and I spent way too much time on it. Not my style of posting, either.

Lol I admit I spent waaay too much time following that net battle. It was just so ridiculous! Check the Nov 14 board for an epic long thread if you're curious. But be warned the first two pages are nothing but horrible GiFs.

Omg, I just tried to read it. I couldn't keep up! Also, we all know I love a good gif. But there were so many elaborate gifs taking place that I honestly had a hard time deciphering what was happening!

I lurk and occasionally respond on Parenting. But in this case I think they were being a bit ridiculous. Maybe I missed something but it seemed like the jumped in where it wasn't really a big deal.. I thought the gifs at the beginning were a bit much but still entertaining.. Not something to get worked up about..

Here it is. Yea @TarheelMama202 it is really hard to get past the first two pages. Excessive GIF use.. and people complain about GIFs here sometimes. YIKES!

Reading that whole thing made me wish that we did do actual voting superlatives like November '13 and then created badges for them.

Although I have no skills in that area. Still, I think it would have been fun!

Nov 14 is beyond BSC, no gifts allowed on their board, nov 13 tried to offer gif-heavy but hysterical bump advice, nov 14 didn't like. Then summer NOT pg girl from parenting had a hissy fit. Eventually people started bashing Nov13 mod for winning mid of the month.

I stopped after that. It started funny and ended just crazy.
