The Ovia Fertility App? Read this article today. Needless to say I just downloaded it onto my phone and am currently entering all my data from FF. I want to see how it holds up to the old tried and true.

I'm just surprised that an app like this would just assume that ALL women have a 28 day cycle especially with ALL the data they have collected about women's cycles.

I use it on my phone but I still use FF as well. This month it predicted accurately the day I ovulated so I dunno. I like it from a calendar prospective and like I said to have on my phone. I like the chart better on FF.

Oh, didn't see that nonsense. With all the data entry it seems that it would be more accurate.
I don't know. You don't *need* that much information to figure out ovulation.
Temp rise + CM or OPK info is really enough. Sometimes I see how much people track each month and my head spins. If can't see the forest for the trees, then what's the point? GD Quote Box
I've seen charts that have a bajillion specifics listed, like "left fire boob" and "tender vajayjay", or more innocuous ones like "work" "out of town" "lab draw" "lining check 9.1mm" . Their chart is so busy. Why not note these things in notes instead of having so many coloured squares??

I've used both. I feel like Ovia doesn't take temps into account, and it seems to rely almost solely on OPKs, which I guess is ok, if you're not temping. I prefer FF and feel like I can trust it more.

Good to know. I HATE OPKs, they have never worked for me.

I used it first before FF because it seemed easier at the time. Once I got the hang of FF I now like it much better. I still have Ovia too because I like the snapshot it gives me of what cycle day I'm on and when to test. That's about it.
