FTM, Baby Movement Poll 2/28

For the FTMs in the group: Have you felt baby move yet (not when you first felt it, but for your current GA)? Can't fit a SS option so the "I'm not sure if what I felt was movement or not" ladies are included in the no movement option.

I am 21 weeks and voted that I have felt movement...but it's only been very little. At my 20 week appointment I was told I have an anterior placenta and that could very well be why I haven't felt much movement at all. It was making me very nervous but now that I know there's a reason I feel a little more at ease. I just hope to start feeling him a little more soon!

I'm 20 weeks and this little guy had been moving almost nonstop for about a week. Of course I think having seen him moving on the U/S I was able to relate what I was feeling to him moving and now know that it's him.

@pantherRN & @JayBzo, yes this poll was done last week and the week before as well, but it was suggested (2 weeks ago) that a weekly movement check in be done to avoid the "I'm # weeks and haven't felt movement yet, should I be concerned" posts.

Since there are still alot of ladies on here who have not felt movement yet (as per last weeks polls and from what I can see this weeks polls too) I figured I'd post one again for this week so that anyone who is wondering can see if there are others in the same week who are in the same boat or if they are the only one left who has not felt movement. I can't imagine there will be more than maybe another week or two where these polls are relevant since even the end of July EDDs are only 2 weeks from the half way mark.

If you'd like them to stop, I've got no problem with that (just let me know).

I'm 21w2d and just started feeling her yesterday! I think this is useful- since I felt her so late it was reassuring to see other people hadn't felt movement yet either.

Still not far enough along to vote! Soon though. I am pretty sure I am feeling the baby today. Or those are some HUGE gas bubbles.

Sorry @zarkarella, when is your EDD? I thought that even the latest July EDDs (aka July 31st) were already 18w. Am I wrong in my math here and excluding the very end of the month ladies?

I think ladies due 7/31 should be 18+1 today. But, I know some early August ladies hang out here.

Yeah that's what my math came up with too (18w1d for a July 31st EDD) when I was putting the polls together this morning. Just wanted to be sure I wasn't way out in la la land this morning.

I can feel her move almost every night when I stretch out for bed, but the past week or two I've been feeling hiccups 2-3 times a day!

Technically Aug 3rd, but I will have a repeat c-section the last week of July.

Mind if I ask why the repeat c/s? I had a c/s with my DD and am going for a VBAC myself (fingers crossed) so I'm always interested in why some ladies decide on repeat c/s versus VBAC (if it is in fact a decision they make, rather than medically necessary). My DH isn't totally on board with my VBAC choice (he is supporting the decision completely but is a worrier - he was in tears when they were wheeling me into the OR last time and called my mom to come to the hospital for support).

I started feeling movement last weekend at 17.3 weeks. It really happens about an hr after my once daily Coke. It's not super strong. Feels like someone gently poking me in my pelvis with their finger.

I'm actually 22w but voted 20 because that was the week I felt movement... I'd been feeling it regularly for the entire week before but always attributed it to gas pains but while I was having my AS I watched him head butt me and I felt it and that's when I realized that's what that was... Since then it's very consistent and the glucosa drink test he was absolutely crazy during... No denying there.

I started feeling definite movement about a week ago. Now this baby is kicking up a storm. It is freaky. lol. Not sure whether to be super excited about it, or just a little weirded out...
