I was standing in the operating room today (in the ONLY place I could stand, which was unfortunately in front of a swinging door) and this older nurse walked out of the room through that door. She came back through that door 15 seconds later and slammed me in the back with it. I almost got knocked over. And then she had the balls to yell at me for standing in the only available spot in the room, even though nobody is supposed to use that door anyway. I wanted to punch her, but instead of doing that or screaming at her, I just kept my mouth shut. She obviously doesn't know I'm pregnant. Now I have a hideous bruise all the way up my back. Anybody else have any similar trauma during early pregnancy? I'm probably being paranoid, but I'm afraid I'll miscarry...

Pregnant or not, no one should do anything to cause bruises to a co-worker. I would report the incident. Maybe she was having a bad day but there is no excuse for assaulting a person (especially if she knew you were standing there).
I hope you heal quickly.
