Good Morning/Afternoon All!

Happy Friday, we made it through another week! Hope everyone is doing well, and has a great weekend!

What is the first thing you notice about people: On Men? On Women? Why?

What is the first thing you say to your child(ren) besides Good Morning or Get up! (<-- for those of us with older children)

What is the first thing you notice about people: On Men? On Women? Why? I have to say personality, because if I am not speaking to a person, I am 100% ignoring them, UNLESS they are like dressed in a cow suit. Ain't nobody got time to be acknowledging all the bagillions of randoms.

What is the first thing you say to your child(ren) besides Good Morning or Get up! (<-- for those of us with older children) "Hey! Penelope Cruz! Oh wait a second.. You're not Penelope Cruz." :-? Sometimes I say Angelina Jolie, or whatever random actress name I can think of. She thinks it's hilarious.

Weekend plans? BOUNCY LAND! Then I really need to go grocery shopping.

P.S Ben & Jerrys is on sale= best weekend ever.

Hope Everyone has a GREAT weekend!

Well on men I notice their hands... Kinky, but I used to always wonder what they could do with those hands. LOL. If a man has clean hands, then he takes care of himself. (in my op). On Women I notice their facial expressions to look at personality, and confidence and how they do their make-up. If they are wearing any.

I always ask him what he dreamt about. Now that he is older he tells me nothing most of the time, but as a young child he used to get sooo excited to tell me about his nightly adventures.

Tomorrow will be full of errands, and stuff around the house. Sunday a birthday gathering for my Uncle. Sunday night The OSCARS!!!

The first thing I notice, man or woman, is their mouth. I think it's because I can't hear very well so I watch a persons mouth while they talk. My friends think it's funny to cover their mouth when they talk to me because they know I will start screaming "I CANT HEAR YOU!!"

After I say good morning (whether it's morning or after an afternoon nap) I always ask her if she had a good sleep.

Weekend plans: it's the start if my weekend rotation tomorrow. Gross.

On men and women? Their eyes. Eyes can say so much about a person.

I always say good morning baby girl and then ask if she has gone potty yet. I always have to remind her because she will hold it for hours. ~X(

Weekend plans?
Continuing my organization quest in my house. Oh and H is taking DD on daddy daughter date so I am hitting the mall for some retail therapy :-bd

First thing I notice on men & women - I usually notice how they dress. DH is a jeans and t-shirt guy so I live vicariously. On women - I tend to think that if women are really nice dressers they are high-maintenance. I'm such a judgey-mcjudgerson and it's really silly for me to have such different reactions for men and women - but my mind is stupid like that. (I'm working on it.)

First thing I say to Pip in the morning: How did you sleep? Not very creative - and she usually just tells me it's time to get up (it's typically 6:30 a.m. when she comes wandering in so my brain is not fully firing). Seems like she's waking sooner every morning too - damn sun.

I think we're going to try hitting an Iditarod event at the Wildlife Experience on Saturday. They're going to have live wolves and huskies there and describe the race, etc. It should be kind of fun. I also think it's a free day at one of the museums on Sunday - Natural History or Children's - can't remember which one, so we'll probably hit that too. It's going to be cold here, so indoor stuff will be the order of the weekend.

On men and women? Their mouths/teeth. For some reason that's where I tend to look when talking to someone.

After good morning I usually ask, "how was your sleep?" We refer to nights as sleeps, for example, 1 more sleep until Saturday.

Weekend plans?
DD1 has a definite case of hand foot mouth disease (which btw is AWFUL), so I'll be cleaning everything she glances at and feeding her popsicles like it's my job. I'll also have some more b/w and an u/s Sat or Sun.

After good morning, I almost always remind her to go potty. The only accidents she has had since wearing big girl panties have been immediately following sleeping.

Weekend plans?
Going to a friend's new baby meet and greet. I'm not really looking forward to it, as she has 2 little girls the both conceived super easily, the second conceived before the first was even 1. I am a bit (or a lot) jealous and feel like she just doesn't care that it has been a struggle for me. On the bright side I am going with my best friend and we will get lots of time to talk just us no husbands or kids for the 2+ hour drive there and back.

Good (mid) morning!! Thought this would be fun since I am new to this board....

What is the first thing you notice about people: On Men? On Women?
On men: It's probably their smile or teeth. Not so much if their teeth are straight or white, but if there mouth is clean! Also facial hair. I think EVERY man looks better with some scruff!
On women: Their eyebrows. I am obsessed with eyebrows! I fill mine in somewhat, but I always notice how others look as well. Do they fill them in, are they shaped nicely, are they thin, thick, do they look natural (when filled in) etc...

What is the first thing you say to your child(ren) besides Good Morning or Get up! (<-- for those of us with older children)
I always rub his back (when he is still asleep to wake him) and tell him it is morning time. He sometimes smiles and giggles and says "no, it's night time". Then I ask "did you sleep good???" in baby talk (he is 3).

Weekend plans? Nothing too great. MH has to work this weekend (we works every other weekend) so I think we just might hang out with my friends. Find something to do. Maybe re-color my hair and see a movie.

What do I notice first about people? Men I notice their eyes. My DH had the most gorgeous blue eyes. And on women I notice their hair.

The first thing I say to DD when she wakes up is normally "Hi baby! Did you put your sock-a-dees on your hands again?" She calls her socks "my sock-a-dee" and they are always on her hands when she gets up and she is barefoot.

Plans for the weekend. DH's cousin's birthday party and ordering balloons for DD's party in a week (from Sunday).

First thing I notice on women is probably hair. I like to change the color and cut of mine often so I pay attention to other women's hair. On men it would probably be height. DH is the same height as me and that is probably the one thing I would change. I like tall guys. (But I love him so it's okay. )

First thing I say to DD is "No, really, you have to get up." She is IMPOSSIBLE to wake up most mornings. She gets that from her dad. Then I am usually reminding her about getting ready for school. We do most of our chatting before bed. First words to DS are most always "Did you sleep good?" Lately his answer is, "My have a good nap." And I think, "You've been asleep for 10 hours. I'd hope you had a good nap."

Weekend plans consist of making homemade jam and fixing our fence that blew down from the rain/ wind storm that is currently going on.

Hm. First thing I notice on both sexes is voice and speech patterns. I can't help it!

The first thing I say to DS in the morning varies, but it is usually "Do you have to go potty?" Sometimes I ask if he had a good sleep or if he's excited for his day.

Weekend plans. Trying to fight off this evil AF pain, stocking up in case we actually get blasted with this next round of snow storms, and playing a double header tomorrow night (ouch!).

What is the first thing you notice about people: On Men? On Women? Why?

I think I'm also the eyes regardless of man or woman. Also, if it's someone I'm being introduced to, their handshake. I like a good handshake lol - just the right kind of grasp & firmness etc. Kinda silly I guess. Also how they talk.

What is the first thing you say to your child(ren) besides Good Morning or Get up! (<-- for those of us with older children)

Usually, "Yay! Are you coming to snuggle with me??" DH and I sleep separately for the sake of being able to sleep lol. So most of the time lately he just gets up to his alarm and comes in my bedroom where I'm already awake waiting for him and he'll snuggle and watch a little tv with me until we get out of bed. Makes me so, so happy because I was always so adamant about not sleeping together when he was a baby because I was scared someone would roll on him. Then as he got a little older I didn't want it to become that he wouldn't sleep on his own. So now that he's four and I'm confident he's sleeping in his own bed on his own I want all the snuggling I can get!!! I'm so sad sometimes I made those decisions and now I treasure the very very few times we actually get to sleep in on the weekends and he'll go back to sleep next to me.

Weekend plans? Trying to take it easy. Guess I'll be doing housework and grocery shopping tomorrow before my first monitoring appointment at 7 am Sun morning - an hour and a half away. Uggggh. But I'm really looking forward to seeing what all these meds are doing.

First thing I notice is hair. Even on men. Color, cut, etc. What can I say, I'm a hair person. Luckily, male pattern baldness does not run in my husband's family. My FIL is in late 50's and still has a full head of hair. My husband's hair is thick, dark, and slightly curly and unless I apply 5 products+ hairspray and straighten the piss out my hair with a CHI flat iron then my hair is naturally curly as well.

One time - I straightened my hair, got on a plane, landed a few hours later at an outdoor airport in the Caribbean and I swear to effing god my hair looked like Monica Gellar off the Barbados FRIENDS episode.

As for my little guy- I usually just say "hey sleepyhead, let's get some breakfast" and then I change his diaper, turn his morning cartoons on and get his sippy cup of orange juice and his breakfast is either waffles, toast, cereal, or a poptart

Bwhaha this is the joke between my friends and I about my hair. So far DD has stick straight hair like MH, I didn't think I would ever have a child with straight hair.

Notice about people- whether they seem upset or happy. My first instinct it to try and cheer people up even if is someone I don't know- I really appreciate it when ppl do that to me so try to pay it forward

I have a good morning song- and while I sing it I rip blankets off and raspberry her tummy at a certain time then she flips over on tummy to get away and I sing the next part and get her feet. By the time we are done she is pretty cheerful (unless sick or teething) and we get on our way.

Weekend plans- hide. Last week of work and I am in denial about going at all.

Another late post.

Normally I'm telling my sweet DD to hurry up. She doesn't have a hurried bone her body as my grandma would say.

We helped my MIL clean out her mom's house, went to dinner and hung out with friends, picked up furniture, rearranged our living room, started tilling our garden and had family dinner out!
