Hello-
I was on TTC 35 over in 2012/2013 but have changed my login name since then. Doesn't really feel appropriate for me to pop back over there, so hoping this might be a home for me.
DS is almost 10 months, and we're gearing up for #2. I'd love to wait a bit longer, but I'll be 42 in August and don't feel like I have the luxury of time on my side. RPL due to poor egg quality appears to be my issue. We were ready to start IVF in the summer of 2012, I had already started my estrogen patch and orderd all my meds only to get a bfp followed by a chemical, the next month miracously DS was conceived!
DH and I have gone back and forth and have been passively ttc the past three months, I think its clear there's a good chance I'll suffer more chemicals or miscarriages when ttc#2 and that's a tough road to commit to going down. I'm ready to book an appt with my RE, (I'm not sure DH is on board with this but he'll go if I ask him to) I know he'll suggest IVF and I'm not sure we're financially ready to commit to that considering that if my AMH has gotten even worse I'll likely not respond well but I also can't imagine how we're going to really agressively ttc on our own while juggling a baby..
In the past my RE did agree to use an IVF med protocal, book the treatment as IUI and only convert to IVF if I produced enough follies, that way I wouldn't be committed to paying OOP for an IVF cycle that might not even end up in a transfer. IUI is covered by my insurance. I think this was generous of him, if not a bit pessimistic on his part lol, so that might be an option again. Anyway, sorry for the long intro, wishing the best of luck to each of you!

DS born via unplanned C-section at 40w6d
smile, and my husband has azoospermia. I have just had two natural cycles with donor IUI, and now am on day three (cd6) of my first clomid cycle. I am just starting to look for on line support. Good luck to all!
