We are on night 3 of DHs cold. He's locked up in man cave, away from us. But, every time Sam is about to drift off to dream land, DH coughs up a frigin lung or sneezes 47 times in a row. I know he cant help it,but damn, STFU!!! Tomorrow is my last day alone with LO from my mat leave, and ds 12 week growth spurt is bad enough. DH keeping us up all night, and exposing us to his contagion isn't helping! Sorry girls, I'm tired and needed to vent!

That being said, I hope he feels better soon, even if no one goes to a hotel!
Lots of hand washing. That's all I got, sorry OP.

I hope you all get some rest soon!

Then again I could be making that up in my head. I hope he gets over his man cold soon.
Yes, that's all it is now I believe as well. He hasn't been febrile since Tuesday. DS starts daycare next week, so while I was worried he could catch his first cold, I'm more concerned about him bringing germs into the center. I know it won't be long before he catches something there. But, I don't want other kiddos and families getting sick because of us.

I'm sure it doesn't help that men are the absolute biggest babies when they're sick.
I agree! What's up with guys not blowing their nose!we have Kleenex all around the house! Learn how to use one!!! Snuffles Mccoughsandsneezes couldn't leave or work fast enough today!! I would have more sympathy if he did something to help himself get better, but he won't take meds, the neti pot 'makes things worse', blahblahblah. He just keeps sucking the snot up and in, making his cold last longer. This I'm tougher than the cold BS drives me insane!

Oh, the meds thing. Don't even get me started.
DH: "I'm sooooo miserable!!!!"
ME: "Did you take anything?"
DH: "...No."
ME: ::Shrug:: (insert the "wife look" here.)
@superspecialsnowflake We have this conversation *every* time DH is sick, which has been 2x since LO was born, plus a tweaked back off and on.
I am trying really hard to make it clear that there is no such thing as too sick or too tired to take care of LO- for either of us. Difficulty: without being passive aggressive.
@NurseKMM, hang in there! Hope everyone feels better soon.
