North Metro dr and hospital recommendations please!

Hello! I just found out I'm pregnant and I'm looking for recommendations. I live near Unity in Fridley, but I'm also interested in Abbot Mother Baby Center. Thoughts on those two? And based on those two, Dr. Suggestions would be great! Thanks sooo much!

    I live in the North Metro and we decided to go with Mercy - basically because they deliver a lot more babies/year I felt more comfortable - but I know people have had good experiences at Unity (and since AMBC is new I'm sure its great!) If you do go to Unity, Dr. Wust out of Allina Blaine is great - I saw him when I was younger (so not for pregnancy) but he is super, super nice and takes his time. He has a lot of great reviews online as well.

    Thanks!  I do continue to read great things about Dr. Wust.  I've never had a male doc, so that makes me a little unsure, but I'm not totally against it!

    I just delivered at Unity in December and had the most amazing experience - we were able to do a water birth which was awesome and the nurses and staff were phenomenal, they were all so sweet and I just can't say enough wonderful things.  Dr. Pamela Green was the attending physician and she is very kind.  I went through Allina Fridley for all my prenatal care, but a friend went to Allina Blaine and had good treatment as well.  Seriously I can't say enough good things.

    Hi there I live in Blaine and just delivered at Unity in January. Really good experience there, I have no complaints with staff or how the delivery went. If u get a chance I would tour the birth center. The recovery rooms are a bit small, well mine was one of the smallest but we managed. My OB was Dr. Pamela Green, very very nice. But I highly recommend if u go there to request a different OB at every visit, which I wish I would of done. Only because when u deliver u will only get the OB who is on call. I have met Dr. Hamel(so nice, very soft spoken and Dr. Wenda I almost liked the best, very friendly and wonderful to talk to. So basically I met those 3 before I delivered and ended up getting Dr. Mary Zgumunt for delivery which I have never met, so I didn't know her at all, but still seemed really nice. All the OBs there have been physicians for over 15 some years. So I hope this helps and good luck. Let us know where u end up going. And also we take our baby there to at the childrens clinic and see Dr. Saakal. Love him!!!
