I'm starting the planning early, maybe some of you have yours already planned out, but I am having a challenge coming up with a theme. I don't want to do mickey or sesame street. I was thinking Thomas but my sister mentioned doing this for my nieces birthday party since she loves thomas. Sports seems so typical for a boy birthday party. What are you doing?
Vintage circus. Not that he's interested in the circus or even knows what it is, but I thought it was cute. We also have one of those vintage looking popcorn machines. It'll be an excuse to pull it out and use it.
We are doing, our little sunshine is turning one with "you are my sunshine" decor. Everyone always says how happy LO always is and she really is so happy sun shines galore it is. Plus I love yellow and it's a color in her room, decor, clothes etc
I am just having immediate family, but might do Beatrix Potter. There are some adorable table linens and accessories at pottery barn kids. Hopefully they will go on sale after Easter!
I'm thinking Sesame Street/abc's. He seems to like alphabet books (dr. Seuss, chicka chicka, etc.) and I am a huge Jim Henson fan, so that would be fun.
In reality, we will probably just grill with friends and play at the park across the street.

I'm not new. I just hate The Bump.
