I'm in the laundry room and hear a terrible racket...AKA Lincoln is loudly strumming an obnoxious toy guitar. Then, the pitter patter of little feet come running.

Lincoln: Mom, is my music too loud?

Me: Yep!

Lincoln: Do you want me to turn it down?

Me: Yes, please.

Lincoln: NAHHHHHHH!

I told C should get her Dada and go take a bath. She looks right at him and goes, loudly, "Dada! Up!" in a very demanding tone! I was hysterics. He was less than thrilled. My 21 month old is turning into a teenager already.

My LO month old doesn't say much yet, but the other day the dogs got in trouble for eating my lunch right off my plate while I helped DS. I put the dogs in time out and said "you're staying in there until daddy gets home!" My DS put his hand over his mouth, opened him eyes wide and said "Oh no!" It was too cute.

Mine can't say more than two words, but I was letting him play with a baby doll that someone gave to us for LO and feeling all progressive that my son breaks gender stereotypes... then he took the doll and banged her head on his toy drum, threw her on the floor, and laughed. Men.
