I'm actually surprised I slept last night, lol. Part of me is hoping the baby doesn't cooperate just to annoy everybody I know. They have been asking constantly and it's driving me nuts.
I had mine today!! From the measurements they were able to get everything looks great. He did cooperate enough to let us know he's definitely a boy!! We have to go back in a month to try and get the rest of the measurements, which I am so sad about Good luck to the rest of you ladies today at your scans!!
Just got back from mine. Baby looks healthy, thank goodness. And it's a GIRL!!! I've been thinking all along it's a boy, so this will take a bit of adjustment. ;-) But I am so happy.
Mine is scheduled for 1:30. We aren't finding out the sex, but my Mom is going to get the info and surprise us Saturday at a little get together we are having. I'm excited to see the baby again! Hoping everything is healthy. I can't wait to see everyone's updates!
This seems to be the appropriate place for me to mention that my scan isn't for another hour and 15 minutes yet I already have to pee. But i can't go now because then I won't be able to drink enough to have to have a full bladder by then.
So the tech said everything looked normal and perfect and the baby was cute (im sure they tell everyone that) and then goes out to double check the numbers and returns with the doctor. Who immediately asks me if she can take a look herself. Cue the terrified music. She told me the tech said 'waitll you see the dad, youll understand.' Apparently my baby has a huge head. She said its not a marker for anything, she thinks baby just takes after Daddy. Still, not exactly what i wanted to hear. I was good with perfect and normal. Ugh. Maybe its baby albert einstein. Go genius baby!
Also i have anterior placenta so it makes sense i cant feel the baby yet (thats a relief) and the tech said she hates the aps because the sizes are always wrong and baby center is the closest. Interesting to know!
We had ours today. We didnt want to find out the sex but everything else looks healthy. Baby is measuring a week and a half ahead which doesnt surprise me since DH and I were both big babies and he is 6' 2". Overall I couldn't ask for a better u/s!
First Baby and a complete surprise.
Hubby has decided to be team green so we are driving friends and family crazy!
One healthy and very wiggly baby girl! They had to have 2 different techs in because she wouldn't be still long enough for the first to get some shots.
I have a healthy baby growing. I don't know the sex, but my mother does. Baby was also very wiggly, the tech was having a hard time measuring the aorta, he got very silent. I started to get concerned then he caught the measurement and said everything looks good. The baby looks like it has huge lips! lol. I can't wait for Saturday to find out the sex.
Our ultra sound revealed that baby was healthy and extremely active. The tech kept saying "wow this one moves around a lot" and everything measured great and on time. No problems with their organs either.
We will find out sex on Sunday at our "reveal" dinner!
We went today too! I got jostled a bit to get baby to cooperate. DH was making fun because I always tell him no tapping on the glass (like at the zoo) and the tech and dr were poking pretty darn hard!
I had the posterior placenta previa, so I get to go back at 28w to make sure it's grown out. I'm just considering it a good thing that I get to see baby again in just 2 months!
Baby is healthy, measuring just 2 days ahead. So do you guys adjust your EDD based on this?
We had our ultrasound yesterday and saw our healthy and very active baby BOYS!!! I am over the moon and was hoping for two more boys (already have one!). Everything looked great and they are developing as they should be. Baby A is measuring right on track at 19 weeks and Baby B is measuring at 20 1/2 weeks. I am 19w2d today. I go back in a month for another growth scan and can't wait to see them again. When they switched over to 3D yesterday we saw both of them side by side and poor boys, they look so squashed!!!!! I can't imagine how much bigger they (and I) are going to get!!!!
