The mint Oreos are my favorite! If I'm eating regular I eat them with peanut butter. But that's about it. I can't find the cookie dough ones either.

I tried watching an episode of Sherlock (the one on PBS) and usually I love all things PBS and Masterpiece but I just couldn't get into it. I thought it was lame and kinda immature. Sorry Sherlock fans. :-/
Watched it over the weekend and though to myself "well there is my UO for Thursday". Normally I love British shows but not this one. I much prefer Elementary and Jonny Lee Miller's Sherlock. Also I think Benedict Cumberbatchs hair looks like a wig.

I'd never claim to know what people who live on this have been through in their lives that this is the way they have to support themselves, but I DO know that it's certainly not enough to be living large, no matter what the conservative media would have you believe. I think the classist side-eye people give welfare recipients is based on a greedy no-one-can-get-something-I'm-not-getting attitude that is disgusting and shameful. If you have enough money to pay your rent or your mortgage, don't have to worry about putting food on your table or gas in your car (and not have to worry about the bus timetables) then stop complaining -- clearly the government isn't taking so much of your tax dollars that you aren't still richer than like 95% of the billions of people on this planet.
And the government spends a disproportionate amount on defense, foreign aid and corporate welfare -- why don't you waste your energy complaining about that?
My UO is that I hate responding negatively to negativity but honestly the focus on what others are getting from the tax dollars of the working misses the mark in addressing the core societal problems that are dividing us as a people. Focus on what YOU have and think about how you can make the lives of those around you better. Be the change, as Gandhi said.

I won't lie I am team Marky-Mark ALL the way. Growing up I had a thing a BIG thing for Jordan but as I got older I totally swooned and still do for Mark. I have watched every movie he has ever been in and some of them were terrible but he made it worth it
There are parts of ACA that are good and parts that really suck. I really think that the fed govt. should have made sure they had all their crap together before they tried to implement it.
My UO is I think the government could save the budget by putting more regulations on unemployment and welfare. There are too many people who abuse the system. When my DH was a manager there were people who would come in to his business wearing PJs and ask him to sign their paper saying they were "Actively looking for a job". They never submitted an application nor did they seem interested in actually getting a job. They just wanted someone to sign so they could continue getting their benefits. He would refuse. There are plenty of people who really do need the help, but equally as many people who abuse the system and are parasites on the economy. Those people need to be cut off. If you are able to work and just dont want to then you dont deserve free money at the expense of tax payer dollars.
Oh goody, we're talking about Skittles for poor people again. I'm sure there is a very small percentage of people who get benefits that they maybe don't deserve, but that number is most definitely not equal to the amount of people who truly need the help.
The poors don't deserve to taste the rainbow.
