This is the weekly June '14 PgAL check-in. This is a place for anyone due June 2014 that has suffered a previous pregnancy loss. PgAL is an exciting but scary place so please feel free to share your thoughts, concerns, milestones and vents. Mostly, this check-in is to remind all of us that we are not alone in the journey and to offer support along the way. Check-in is every Saturday.

Hi ladies! Hope you all have been well. I've been doing well. 25 weeks and 4 days! Woohoo! Can't believe I am almost to the third trimester! Little guy is doing well..growing and kicking and moving and I love it! Wish my body didn't ache as much..looking into either a Snoogle or foam topper for the bed.

Sorry for another impersonal check-in ladies. DH and I are taking DD over to my brothers early this morning for the day and night so I've got some more packing tomorrow. I hope to check-in with everyone in the morning. I miss you ladies!

How far along are you? 25w 5 d

Team / Name? Pink - Finally decided on Kelsey Marie

Got the courage to buy anything yet? We just found to hardwood antique dressers at a local consignment shop that I'm going to sand down and paint this weekend. Don't worry, I have the non-VOC.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? I'm starting to feel real big but happy that it isn't coming out in my butt and thighs yet like it did with DD#1. I'm mostly carrying in front this time.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Any baby awesomeness this week? She freaked me out this week because she hadn't moved in awhile even after my morning coffee so I had to break-out the trusty doppler but found her pretty quickly now. DD#1 loves to help find her heartbeat.

QOTW – What will LOs nursery look like? We went with a vintage style ladybug set. We actually set-up the crib last night and got the curtains hung. I'm waiting until my next ultrasound at 28 weeks to verify that she is a girl to break out her bedding. I actually have an ultrasound at a local college with the ultrasound techs performing their finals. I did it with DD#1 and it was pretty fun.

Got the courage to buy anything yet? Nursery furniture arrived on Thursday! Got a great deal and couldn't pass it up.
How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Was doing ok. Physically- better but still getting sick a couple times a week. Emotionally- great!
Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? Next one is Monday March 3 and I'll be doing my glucose test

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Any baby awesomeness this week? I registered last week and baby shower invites are out! I still can't believe this is really happening but im getting excited!

How far along are you? 24w3d

Got the courage to buy anything yet? I've bought some clothes, a box of Pampers, washcloths and towels

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Physically, I'm exhausted. The 3rd trimester exhaustion has hit 2 weeks early. Emotionally, I'm still a wreck. I can't tell you how many texts I sent to my husband this week while he was away on business that I was scared/petrified. I'm really struggling with fears of preterm labor/delivery and the memories of how badly mine went.

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? My next OB appointment is on the 4th. I already had the GD test, and failed, so this one I'll have CBCs ran?

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Just emotional this week

Any baby awesomeness this week? Baby continues to kick, move, roll, etc. It's awesome but of course I freak if I notice he hasn't moved in a while.

QOTW – What will LOs nursery look like? No idea. We are in the process of looking at houses; as of now, the poor child doesn't have a room. We're looking this weekend again so hopefully we'll be lucky and find one and be in within the next 2 months to jump right on decorating a nursery.

Still holding strong with team green!

Bought a cute snowsuit that was on clearance at BRU for $5!!

I have been feeling anxious about labor itself, which I guess is good that I'm finally thinking that far ahead. Unfortunately the ideas of "something going wrong" at the last minute are haunting me. I bought the book "Mindful Birthing" and will let you know how it is as I'm really plugging through it.

We have a regular check-up appointment this Wednesday. Will they start being every 2weeks from now on since I'll be in my 3rd tri?

Just crazy to think I'm almost in my 3rd tri...

Yay the nursery is really coming along now that DH moved the bed out and we have room to set up the furniture! Our colors are sage, cream, and gray! Pics to come

How far along are you? 22weeks!!

Team / Name? Just joined team pink with my little Aamie.

Got the courage to buy anything yet? My mama got the baby some onesies and binks the other day. I had to finally get some maternity pants and shirts for work because apparently pajamas are not work appropriate.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Physically so tired and have really bad insomnia as well as heartburn that makes me want to vomit. Emotionally I feel like a crazy lady all over the place one minute I'm so excited the next I just want to cry.

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? A/S went well the baby is doing well as well as growing right on track. Only thing the doctor mentioned was how low she was but not to worry.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Not really just keep having nightmares that I wake up bleeding.

Any baby awesomeness this week? I can feel when she is awake or asleep at this point and I felt her kick from the outside the other day. My SO thinks it's creepy which I then try to get her to kick him so that's fun.

How far along are you? 25 weeks 3 days

Got the courage to buy anything yet? We got the stroller and car seat last week and I have picked up a few outfits here and there.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? I started getting this crazy pain in my lower belly last night, it's worst when I stretch my legs out and better if they are bent in front of me. I keep telling myself it's just RLP but part of me is really worried about it.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Any baby awesomeness this week? Baby is getting really strong I can see him moving across my belly and DH has no problems feeling him move anymore.

QOTW – What will LOs nursery look like? We just finished painting it the other day, 3 walls are grey and white striped and one wall is bright teal. I am doing some orange accents as well and my sister is going to paint some elephants on the upper wall when she comes out to visit in a few months.

GOT THE COURAGE TO BUY ANYTHING YET- We have bought a pram, we already have everything else exept clothes which my sisters have started buying :-).

HOW ARE YOU FEELING PHYSICALY/EMOTIONALY? ANY UPDATED OR APPOINTMENTS COMING UP YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE? - Physicaly in pain with PGP and general aches and pains and been having Braxton hicks for a few weeks now, emotionaly ok moods are up and down, appointments I had my 24 week check all looking grate measuring 25 weeks with a very active baby and nice strong heartbeat.

BABY AWSOMNESS - She very active and can see her moving, I think she rearranging some things to get comfy :-)

Got the courage to buy anything yet? Evidently my pregnancy brain is worse than I thought, last week I mentioned that I had bought a Snoogle the day after Thanksgiving and this past week I also realized that I had bought a stocking the day after Christmas. That's all though, at least that I can remember. lol!

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? Physically I'm feeling pretty good, I get tired really easily and am getting over a cold from this week. Emotionally, I'm doing better. I had my monthly appointment this past Thursday and her heartbeat was 155 and the doctor found it right away. Definitely made me feel good hearing it! She is still pretty low but the doctor didn't seem too concerned about it, said it was still normal.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Any baby awesomeness this week? No new crazy... just the normal. This past week I've FINALLY started feeling her a little bit everyday, pretty sure that has helped tremendously with the PGAL brain.

QOTW – What will LOs nursery look like? We haven't started a nursery yet because we're looking to buy (and pretty sure we found a house, just have to take care of some logistics first!). I do know that I want to gray walls with a chevron accent wall that the crib will go on and then add pink accents. I want a theme that can be used as she gets older (or until she tells us what she wants). I'll probably add a few elephants too. I can't decide if I want white furniture or black... any thoughts? Thanks!

Hi there! This is my first PgAL check-in :-h and I am so happy to be able to join you ladies! I am due June 5th.

I am 25 weeks 2 days along!

We are team blue! No names yet, DH and I cannot agree on one single name and it's driving me crazy.

No courage to buy anything yet (even though we are pretty much set with all of DS's stuff) I do want to get this LO his own special gift!

Feeling great! Glucose test is next week (yuck).

My crazy PgAL brain still has me checking my Doppler even though I can feel him in there doing baby karate.

No nursery for this LO (yet anyway) as we are currently remodeling and he will be in the co-sleeper in our room for a bit. I would like to get started on it now but that is not possible. I am super bummed about this because I have my college degree in Interior Design and had a blast doing DS's room while pg. Plus it helped keep my PgAL brain in check for a good amount of time.

@Brittnic531 I vote for white nursery furniture! Our master bedroom has gray walls and the furniture is dark (which I love) but the white accent pieces I put in there look amazing! Though, I am sure it will be cute no matter what you go with

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? I am still in denial that I am actually going to have twins. I don't think I will really believe it until they are here and healthy.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Any baby awesomeness this week? I can tell they are getting bigger because their movements are getting more defined and strong. I could feel Josie's feet the other day. So cute!

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? No appointments until March. I've had some cramps and aches, but nothing too concerning. I'm assuming it has to do with growth as there is no spotting or contractions. I've got 0 energy lately and it's driving me insane, along with my anxiety.

Got the courage to buy anything yet? A few little things in the last week. Also, bought some fabric for bedding.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Physically good, but extremely nervous today. Nervous DS might have 5ths and I have no antibodies. They will do extra bloodwork at my next appt. and I am supposed to call if I have symptoms. I'm just scared that we might not get to bring this baby girl home. Trying to rationalize that it is all probably fine, but it's hard with PGAL brain.

Any baby awesomeness this week? I will never get tired of feeling this baby move. Such a miracle.

Hi ladies! Hope you all are doing well. I had a slight scare last week with contractions and discharge. Came to find out it was caused by GBS (group B Strep). They put me on antibiotics and so far, no more contractions. So that's great news.

Went to the dr this yesterday for a follow up. Baby is BIG and strong. Belly is measuring 31cm (apparently typical for 32 weeks pregnant. Not 24). Dr was shocked at babies strength, size and the amount of kicking. I'm gonna take it as a good sign. As long as I feel him in there :-)

We already have the nursery pretty much set. 2 strollers and a car seat thanks to generous friends and crib is arriving next week. This is my mothers first grandchild (she's been waiting for YEARS for this moment) so our little guy is more than set on clothes. I attached a photo of the nursery although we added a huge mobile and chalkboard wall since then :-)

I'm 24w 3days. Can't wait for the Third trimester! And can't wait to see pictures of all your beautiful babies up here in June. It's gonna be here before we know it :-)

Got the courage to buy anything yet? No we're waiting until after our shower to see what we need. We're looking for a dresser!

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? My kid is kicking the crap out of my ribs so I am always uncomfortable. I'm sure he's going to be really long because he's still super low and his foot is up in my rib.

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? Just had an appointment last Tyesday. I'm measuring a week ahead. Kids going to be HUGE!

Grey, navy and red. We're doing a vintage aviation theme. Nothing baby or over done. If it turns out like I have in my head it's honna be awesome!

Got the courage to buy anything yet? Bought a newborn sized going home outfit today! It's a cute dress with green and brown flowers. 3 dollars at a second hand store and will look like new once the wrinkles are out!

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? The round ligament pains are my nemesis. I never had these with my son and I can share that they are No Fun At All. My MW says they get worse with each PG, so I can't imagine how they will be next time around!

No MW appointments until March, although I need to do my GTT sometime between 26-28 weeks (before my next appointment).

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Any baby awesomeness this week? This LO is a mover and shaker. I love feeling her dance around so much already!

QOTW – What will LOs nursery look like?

This LO will sleep in our room for at least the first 6 months (maybe longer depending on how bad of a sleeper they are). DS slept in our room for a long time and it worked out well with BFing and night wakings. We have a small house and don't have a spare room to be this LO's nursery. Once the new baby moves out of our room we'll either need to move to a larger house or shuffle our office/storage room around so it can be the baby's room too.

Got the courage to buy anything yet? I bought some cute outfits at the Disney store in Times Square last weekend. And just received two onesies, a blanket and a bib from a family friend, she said they were preview gifts before my shower!!

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Doing pretty good emotionally and still fighting the heartburn!

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? Check up on Monday, meeting one of the midwives. My doctor is starting to rotate me through the practice to meet some of the other doctors and midwives.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? None!!!!

Any baby awesomeness this week? Love feeling him squirm and move!! It's the best part of my day!!!

Got the courage to buy anything yet? More clothes and some decor stuff for the nursery; looked at the crib and dresser we want when I was at Ikea but we aren't buying anything big until we are finished reorganizing/painting.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? Physically, good, just tired. Emotionally, pretty good, starting to get excited as it's beginning to feel real!

Got the courage to buy anything yet? Nothing this week, but going to get some paint samples tomorrow.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? I am still fighting heartburn. Friday was horrible, no more OJ for me! I am also very tired which stinks because I really want to start toning/exercising before we go to FL. I have been able to sleep through the night for the past two nights which is wonderful, but my hips and back are starting to get sore. Hoping to get a prenantal massage soon!

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? Nothing until March, but have to get my glucose test done before then.

Any baby awesomeness this week? DH and DS have been able to see and feel little man moving and kicking around. So fun to watch their eyes light up when they get to feel him.

QOTW – What will LOs nursery look like? I am 99% sure it will be a nautical theme using the colors navy, white, aqua, gray and possibly a punch of orange. I just found an awesome bedding set with anchors and whales, so I think I am going with that. Walls will be gray, possibly one wall striped, ceiling will be aqua, furniture will be white, and if it goes I will add pops of orange. Below is a picture of the bedding set. It's becoming so real now.

Sorry I'm late checking in this weekend! Lucia's birthday was yesterday, and we've had a busy weekend

How far along are you? 23 weeks 2 days

Got the courage to buy anything yet? Nope, but when my B and SIL sent a present for Lucia's birthday, they sent a beautiful blanket for Viviana. So we do own something

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? I'm doing well. Sciatica has started because I've been on my feet so much this weekend. But otherwise I am feeling good. Emotionally I've been so wrapped up in Lucia turning two, I haven't had time or energy to worry about Viviana, which has been nice. She's still wiggling away in there, which is great. Lucia is a great big sister already. Yesterday we spent the whole day together just doing fun things with her and she kept saying, "It's a Dada, Mama, Nini (which is how she says Lulu), Viviana day!!". I love that she includes her in everything.

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? I have my monthly appointment on Thursday. Everything looks great, which certainly helps my good attitude right now. I have to go in for GD test in 3 weeks, then back to doctor in 4 weeks.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Any baby awesomeness this week? My belly is starting to move all around, which I love watching

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Right now I'm feeling anxious. He was kicking around a lot on Saturday, but I haven't felt a good thump since then; only small "was that a kick"? kind of feelings. I've also been on my feet almost nonstop since Sunday morning (except for sleeping) so I wonder how much that has to do with it. . . .

QOTW – What will LOs nursery look like? We're just working on cleaning out the room right now! Luckily we did do a little of that this past weekend. My job is just so busy right now; I'm feeling a little overwhelmed.

Hi @feliciatwo. Congrats on the baby boy! I would not worry if you aren't feeling him when you are active and on your feet. As I understand it, us moving around provides a rocking motion for baby which can be soothing and even put them to sleep. My little guy is most active at night when I'm in bed or just after I've eaten. Both times I'm resting and not being active. I rarely notice the kicks when I'm out and about moving around. Hope this helps calm you! I know how hard it is not to worry.

Got the courage to buy anything yet? We just bought the stroller and will be ordering the dresser for his room today. Almost everything else will be left overs from DS

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? I've been one big ball of a emotional mess the last two weeks. THis is when i would have been delivering my angel baby and it's hit me a lot harder than i ever thought. Physcally my backs been going crazy - Connor is big (2 weeks bigger than he should be) and i'm carrying all out front so it's throwing off my back like crazy. I'm calling this mornign to hopefully get in for a massage.

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? I saw the OB last week - he kept me on pelvic rest for another 2 weeks, i haven't had any bleeding but because of the re being no real "cause" and having a lot of BH's he wants me to take it easy. We also selected Connor's birthday - he will be here 6/5/14 as long as my BP stays under control - it's my grandpa's birthday so i'm extra excited. Then next weekend i go for my Glucose test (oh fun)

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Every little twinge or BH makes me frearfull of preterm labor - the next 13 weeks won't go by fast enough.

Any baby awesomeness this week? He is moving around like a mad man and i'm loving every second of it

Bought just a few clothes.

Physically I'm ok emotionally a wreck. Today has been one year since I delivered our son Lucas at 18w. I actually had a harder time yesterday and lost it than I did today. Today I've just been kind of melancholy I guess is the right word.

I have an appt next Friday (i've rescheduled like 3 times.)
PgAl crazy---I've been going apeshit on everyone at work. They have all pushed me to the edge and I've lost it. It's actually pretty funny when I flip out on them-no one knows what to do. LMAO

As for baby awesome, just feeling him move and knowing this time last year I did not get that opportunity. I am so grateful

As for nursery-no realy nursery as we are moving but I don't know where/when yet. There's a lot of changes going on.

Hello ladies! Sorry for missing check in, we left on our babymoon last Saturday, just got back to land this morning. All went well and had a wonderful time enjoying the sun and a little adventure. .~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~As of today we are 24 weeks! Team pink, Camryn~~~~~~~Not much new shopping, our stroller came and kohls delivered the wrong design, the one I wanted was not in stock so I had to order elsewhere. Probably sitting on my front patio in the snow since yesterday. Car seat came too! Seems so real now! I found her a cute sundress for next summer when we were in grand cayman for the day.

~~~~~~~. Emotionally I'm feeling a little relieved that we made it through vacation without anything happening so far from home, and now I'm so relaxed and excited for the getting prepared stuff. DH can tell when she is kicking based on the grinning idiot look I have when she kicks, it just makes me so happy! Physically I'm good except for my swollen ankles. I think the combination of indulgent eating, the heat and so much walking in the islands did it, but I've got cankles, feels so unsexy. Her nursery is pink and light green with a safari theme. I can't wait to get it started!

Got the courage to buy anything yet? Waiting for the shower before we make any major purchases.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? Physically I'm still sick but back at work. Abigail is not phased though. Her kicks are crazy strong.Emotionally - I am counting down the days til she is here. For her to be in my arms as well as for me not to have the stress of my job anymore. Regular checkup March 5, 28 week u/s and Glucose test on March 20.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Any baby awesomeness this week? No PgAL crazy (Thank God). When I lay down my husband can poke my stomach and she kicks back ... and you can see it! I thought that would take a lot longer since I am more insulated

QOTW – What will LOs nursery look like? Until we get a bigger place (no telling when that will be) LO will be in our room. We have rearranged to give her a nice nice corner of the room. Will hang some cute paintings. Her colors are Teal, Purple and Grey.
