The procedure went well, I think the worst part was hearing how long it would take to get results. On Wednesday, we'll get the preliminary results from the karyotype along with the sex of the baby; the final results will follow a week later. If everything appears to be normal there, then they'll start the UPD testing and results from that will take about a month.
That really threw me for a loop. I thought that after a week, I'd get my results and be able to enjoy the rest of my pregnancy...but I have another month of worrying about whether or not we'll be keeping the pregnancy. And I have to wait another month before I can announce to anyone, including our families. It's just so overwhelming to think that after everything we've gone through, we still may not have our take home baby...and that really breaks my heart.
If the baby carries the translocation like I do, then there's no chance for a UPD and we'll be good to go...but hoping for that makes me feel like a bad mom. I'd never wish any of this difficulty on anyone, especially not my own children. We did get to see Rex and it was the first time I cried during an u/s. Heart rate was 163 bpm and my little overacheiver measured in at 12w1d...just about 5.4 cm. The tech was fantastic, she knew I was pretty freaked out so she spent a lot of time showing me the little munchkin. We saw little hands with fingers, a cute little nose, and two very active little legs.
Today was just really emotionally draining and I want this mess to be over with. I don't normally ask things like this, but T's and P's would really be appreciated. Thanks for reading this far...I hope you ladies are doing well ♥

1st Pregnancy: MC, 11/19/00.
2nd Pregnancy: DS born 04/10/06.
3rd Pregnancy: CP, 03/11.
4th Pregnancy: MMC, D&C 11/30/11, Genetic testing revealed Trisomy 4.
5th Pregnancy: Ectopic, 2 doses of Methotrexate unsuccessful, surgery 4/10/12, right tube removed.
Tried Letrozole January 2013-July 2013 (including 2 IUIs), all BFN. After 2 1/2 years of trying for child #2, decided to "give up" after July cycle, based on AMA.
August 16, 2013: BFP our first month of "not trying!" Still in shock. Beta #1 (14dpo): 183. Beta #2 (17dpo): 611. Ultrasound 8/30/13: baby measured 6 weeks, 1 day, heart rate of 118 bpm!
Ultrasound 9/13/13: 8 weeks, heart rate of 176!
Baby is due 4/26/14

Me (34)- no issues found MH (36)- MFI due to Vericocele. Straight to IVF w/ICSI 9/12, Antagonist. 9R, 7M, 5F = BFN c/p, New RE for IVF #2- 1/13., Long Lupron. ER on 1/22 -10R, 9M, 9F. Transfer on hold due to overstimming. FET in Feb. 2 frozen blasts. Another BFN & another c/p. RPL testing all negative besides MTHFR gene, vericocle repair surgery 4/12/13-Bilateral Grade 3 Vericocele found & fixed, IVF #3 with PGS 4/13- 11R, 9M, 9F. Transferred 2 normal=BFN, 3 normal on ice. CCRM-here we come! ODWU-All test results normal. EPP in August. 21R, 20M, 19F. 12 blasts biopsied & frozen for CCS testing. Results showed 11 normal! FET Oct. 30. 2 5d 4AA blasts transferred. First ever BFP!!! Beta 1=216, Beta 2=870 1st U/S=It's TWINS!!! It's a BOY and a GIRL!! Everyone Welcome!!!

5/13 IVF #1: Follistim, Menopur, Ganirelix, 10R/4M/4F, ET of 2, 5 cell and 4 cell, no frosties = BFN
12/13 IVF #2 = November / December 2013. Microdose Lupron Protocol: 15R/6M/6F, Froze all 6 due to high E2 and P4
FET 1: Jan 22, 2014 of one 4AB blast and one 3BB blast (3 blasts on ice!)

As a fellow Robertsonian Translocationer, I want to offer huge hugs and support while you wait to hear the news. FX your LO is healthy. Sometimes it feels like days are as long as years when you're waiting to hear news like this, I hope tomorrow brings you great news. GL.
