What week and fruit are you?: 20/banana

What symptoms are you feeling this week?: Chubby. My stupid body fills out everywhere other than my belly. My face, arms and hips already are driving me crazy. But overall I'm feeling really great. We took a four-day vaca to Carmel, CA without the kids this weekend and it was exactly what I needed.

GTKY: What book have you read lately that you've enjoyed? (Everyone is talking about book clubs and book gifts, thought I'd keep with the theme): Honestly? None, other than parenting and marketing type books. I'm not a big reader so I usually just read for info, not entertainment. Right now I'm reading Positive Discipline.

    Week 19/Mango

After a scare in the Bahamas this weekend (horrific back pain and stomach cramping- almost Barxton Hicks-ish) I am home safe and sound and resting. Saw the dr yesterday and everything looked good with me and the munchkins. Tomorrow we find out the sex....so excited!!!!

Currently reading Let's Pretend This Never Happened. Hoping to have it finished in two weeks so I can lead a book club discussion in it, lol! So far, it's a great read with a lot of scarves tic humor :)

Wow, that stuff is terrifying at home so I can't imagine how nerve-wracking that must've been out of the country. Glad to hear everyone's okay. And good luck tomorrow! We go Friday :)

Week 21, pomegranate/spaghetti squash!!! Baby weighs a pound!

Had an appointment yesterday and found out I'm RH negative. It confused me the way the doc explained it, but it sounds like its NBD...?

Symptoms? Just heartburn and crazy emotional outbursts.

GTKY: Just read The Cookbook Collector by Allegra Goodman. It's about two very different sisters during the dot com boom of 2000-2001, and I really enjoyed it!

    Week: 21 - pomegranate

Symptoms: a bit of soreness in my tail bone, but finally feeling baby this week!

GTKY: "I see rude people" by Amy Alkon, a friend lent it to me but haven't started it yet. On a random note, I'm currently trying to track down a good version of Aesops fable for baby, it was one of my favorites when I was little.

    21 weeks - pomegranate

Pelvic girdle pain is painful! But I'm looking at the bright side, it only effects me and not bub so I'm happy with that.

French Children Don't Throw Food, it's an interesting read. An American woman living in Paris and her observations on the way French children are raised.

I'm Rh neg too. Its nbd, this LO # 2 for me. You'll get a shot in your butt at like 28 weeks. They will test your lo's blood type at birth & if s/he is Rh positive you'll get another butt shot. If you have any abdominal trauma before your shot they'll give you one early just in case. If you're a FTM all of this is to protect future babies.
