Full panel tankini?

I've been to Target, Kohls, Sears, JC Penny, Gap, Old Navy and Macy's and I can't find any bathing suits!!
I need it for this weekend. I will need to drive an hour to get to Motherhood Maternity or Pea in Pod! I want a tankini that has full panel bottoms, but at this point, honestly I will take anything! Help! Has anyone had luck finding bathing suits?? I am 24 weeks with twins and huge. I live in MA.

A coworker gave me her maternity suit that is from Target but it just has regular bottoms. I've mostly worn it with my normal bikini bottoms instead because I don't want to deal with getting that much wet fabric up and down my belly.

Usually though I just wear a mismatched swimsuit- the one bikini top that still fits and a random pair of bikini bottoms. I'm only going in the lap pool so I don't care how it looks, I'm just going for the easiest thing to take on and off, especially since I normally have to run to the bathroom during my longer swims.

ETA: I totally hear you on feeling huge. I'm measuring 6 weeks ahead and thats a big part of why I don't feel like spending money on a maternity suit because I'm sure I'll outgrow it.

  • I've never heard of a full panel tankini. Usually it's a long top with a regular bottom. Have you looked online to see if motherhood actually sells one?

Fwiw my boobs fit into no bathing suit anywhere and had to order DD/E online. I am usually a s/m top :(
  • I ordered my maternity bathing suit on amazon and think I saw a full panel tankini.

i dont know your comfort level, but i think this is the time to let our big bellys hang out with no shame!  i have worn a bikini and while its tough to find a top that fits ( @Mia081081 i have the same size E problem) i didnt mind letting my belly fly!  try target for xtra large tops and mix and match the bottoms.  i would also be afraid that with a tankini, the top would just roll up lol

  • lola4411 - If you are still in the market for a swimsuit, I highly recommend asos.com. I just bought 2 DD/E ones that look amazing and fit really well. I live on the beach and I'll be BF-ing, so I know my boobs will be big for the next year and a half or so. Their Asos brand is actually pretty cheap too - Target prices.

  • Try Walmart. I was there the other day and they had a ton of suits. I didn't notice any maternity suite, but the Misses/Ladies suits seemed like they'd totally work. Good Luck!

  • Why not just go with a maternity one piece?  Full belly coverage.

  • If you need it for this weekend, I'd second the suggestion for amazon. They can usually ship the fastest and they have a selection of maternity suits.
  • @nutmegs8 hahahaha awesome

  • Look at plus size, I had the same problem. I ended up getting a 3x bottom (with a skirt style bottom). Depressing to see that size on a tag but it had the coverage I needed and that's all that really matters. Probably easier to find then maternity swimwear

  • I wear shorts and tee or tank top. I don't have the most attractive pregnancy body AT ALL.
