Glucose test at 3:00pm (EST). I failed the one-hour last time around and had to do the three-hour (which was the suck) so I'm crossing my fingers for good results.
Appointment in 20 minutes. I'm wondering when they'll do the glucose test. I'm 26 weeks now and my next appointment isn't until March 14th. I figured it would be done today, but the appointment is only listed as lasting 15 minutes.
[begin boo-hooing SS] I got put on notice about my weight gain . Midwife was really nice about it, and said that I'm still in the normal range, but I should try exercising more since I put on a bunch of weight really fast in the past 5 weeks. She is right, I do need to exercise more. But it's really frustrating and upsetting as someone who has always always always had body image problems. Horrible irony is, my stomach was faintly growling as she was talking to me about it. Trying to focus on my super active and healthy baby, and stay positive about what I can do to healthfully keep my weight in check... [end boo-hooing SS]
Just got done with 1 hour glucose test i hope i do well and dont have to take the 3hr test i had GD with DD and the 3hr test sucks..i have my ultrasound appt today also to measure my cervix..hoping all goes well today i will be 25 weeks on tmrrw..just praying i do well on this glucose test today
Woke up with right flank pain, ugh. I'm getting an US of my kidneys after lunch, and meeting with my general physician at 3:45 to see if I need antibiotics. Hoping my right kidney isn't blown out with hydronephrosis, I've never had kidney problems before.
Regular OB checkup at 3:00 EST. Hoping to get my RCS scheduled and in the books today! Good luck to everyone!
Update: no scheduled section date yet. Boo. We will schedule at 32 weeks so that is something to look forward to! Other than that baby has a strong heart beat and is measuring a little ahead, like always.
Had my A/s today and she took FOREVER! Ok I'm used to a different dr office and this one took for sure twice as long! The tech said she's pretty sure we're having a girl and as far as she knows everything looks fine but she sends everything to the radiologist who has the real say.
Oh yeah, I have a Dr's appointment today at 4:15pm EST but this is the boring one since it is just a regular weigh, pee and check-in.......not a fun one like the ultrasound last time. But as much as I miss not seeing him this time, I am thankful to not have the stress of last pregnancy with follow-ups.
@Rachel5130 Hope everything is OK! Keep us updated.
My appointment was basically uneventful. Drank the orange stuff, heard the heartbeat, had my blood drawn. Hoping I DON'T get a phone call tomorrow (they said no news is good news). Doctor said VBAC is still a go but that he won't let me push for five hours again this time (um, thank you?) Also got a TDAP booster.
@laureljoy91 at my office, they give you the drink, instructions, and a range of dates you can do it at a regular appointment (usually 24 weeks). Then you just follow the instructions whenever in that block of dates that you want and they usually have the results by the 28 week appointment. Maybe they do something like that?
They actually gave me a lab order to take in and my doc said I can do it any time as long as I have it done before my next appointment, which is in two weeks. FTM, I had no clue how this was done lol.
I have to now take the 3hr glucose screen i got the 1hr results back today from my doc i was really looking forward to not having GD with this pregnancy i had it with DD during my 1st pregnancy i am just really hoping this time around i dont have it and my results from the 3hr test is good
Everything went good at the Dr's. I am measuring right on at 25 weeks so "HA!" family members and coworkers who claim I am much bigger already this time. I am right on pace. I met the final doctor and she is really nice. She was reassuring about my braxton hicks saying that I feel them a lot stronger since I am so tiny and she wasn't concerned about them leading to an earlier delivery again but if I have any bleeding (which I haven't) to call asap and also they'll start cervix checks sooner.

This made me laugh - I had the exact same reaction yesterday.
