Winter needs to die!

Today is our high for the week at 22 degrees - with 30-35 mph winds.  WTF?!

Sunday for my long run (9 mi), it is supposed to be a HIGH of 2 degrees!

I am so tired of winter!  My kids haven't even had outside recess regularly in months because the temps are below zero most of the time.  We've been lucky on the snow front but not on the temp and wind front.

    Agreed. High of 15 plus wind today Nd it's the best it's going to get so Im grocery shopping. Yuck. Dd hasn't been outside for more than 10 minutes in weeks.
    Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!

    We may have a record LOW high temp for March on Sunday with -2 as the high!  Not much to get excited about when as good as it gets is -2!

    Our highest high in the forecast is 16. The low is -15. 

    We've barely gotten outside this winter because it's been so cold. 2 years ago, when A. was born, it was mid 70s. Her bday is in about two weeks. 

    I'm not expecting mid 70s in mid-March every year. But above freezing would be nice.

    I hear ya. I was going to go shopping today for birthday presents since it was "supposed" to be the warm day of the week. Now with the 30-40 mph wind and below windchill, we stayed home. Sigh, we'll go tomorrow even though it is going to be cold tomorrow too. Hopefully it won't be windy!

    @barnwife when is A's birthday? DS will be 2 on Mar 10. That was such a nice Mar the year they were born.

    We have been talking about moving.  We shouldn't move.  DH likes his job, we have a house we like, and we live in an affordable place.  But I just can't stand to be indoors for 5 or 6 months/year.  It is making me sick.

    March of two years ago was amazing. DH and I were just talking about how our wedding was two years ago this March, when the grass was green and the daffodils were up in all the pictures!

    Your DS is two days older than A. It was so nice they year they were born. I fully realize that may never happen again in my lifetime...but it'd be wonderful - especially after this long, extra cold winter.

    No kidding.. We haven't been outside to play since before christmas.. The snow has been to ridiculous! It's been about waist high on me! for the majority of Feb. 

    And the cold.. We just can't be outside because it's not safe, and it's just horrible. 

    So ready for this crap to be done
