When did you announce?

When did you announce to people you were having multiples? I've told a few people that we may be having twins but we aren't sure yet.

We found out it was twins at 7w and change, so everyone found out we were pg and that it was twins at once. Family and close friends between 8-10w and work around 14w. I don't do FB announcements.

We found out at 7w as well, I told my mom right away (she was the only person who knew we were expecting), but waited until 12-13 weeks to tell everyone else. I was worried one wouldn't make it, but after our NT scan was too excited not to share.

We told our immediate families after our first ultrasound at 7w. Everyone else after our NT scan. I couldn't really hide it anymore by then anyway.

We told everyone about the preg at about 12 weeks. We haven't told a soul it's twins (even my own mom) mostly bc I don't want them to treat me differently or scare me every time I see them that it's going to be so much work bc they have nothing else to talk to me about. I don't want anyone judging me or feeling bad for my DS that he'll be ignored. So far it's been the right move. Everything is happy and quiet so far!!

I don't want anyone judging me or feeling bad for my DS that he'll be ignored. So far it's been the right move. Everything is happy and quiet so far!!

We told our parents at 8w, family right before 13w the the rest if the world at 13.

I told my Mom and sister I was pregnant when we found out, simply because I can't keep secrets from them. We found out it was twins at 6 weeks...and I was going to keep that a secret until Christmas, but DH couldn't, so we announced to immediate family only that we were pregnant, and it was twins. Extended family found out at 12 weeks which was Christmas, and we announced on facebook to friends etc shortly after that.

Lots of people knew we were doing DE IVF so we told those people right away. I started showing around 12 weeks so the people I see regularly found out then. We did a formal announcement at 20 weeks after the A/S.

We told our parents after our BFP. And told them it was twins when we found out at 8weeks. We announced to work and friends as we saw them after 13 weeks. We did a Facebook announcement at 22 weeks.

We told parents/siblings and closest friends when we found out we were pregnant. We told those same people and my bible study that it is twins around 8 weeks (I just couldn't hide it). We told extended family and public around 13 weeks.

We told everyone (non-family) about 10 1/2 weeks. We surprised them with the double whammy of "we're pregnant.... with twins!"

We told close friends and family we were pregnant at around 9ish (7weeks for my parents). We found out it was twins at 10 weeks and informed the people that knew we were pregnant. We announced to the world at 13 weeks.

Close family and friends who knew we'd done IVF found out at 7w when we did. We told a few others and work friends at 12- 14w (it was becoming obvious I was pregnant) and then announced on FB and stopped beating around the bush at 18w.
